I've even been served bananas in some indian curries (very few do this, but when they do I like it). There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
Thanks, that sounds delicious and easy. I just need to get some watermelon tomorrow. YummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmPlease stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Hope you like it,
We do.. For meat eaters goes well with lamb chops, for vegetarians one could beef it up as a side to grilled med veg kebabs....think Greek or spitting distance for part of a bigger meal.

You know how women do their hair for the hairdresser? Kiwi is at groomers next week so I just about to bath him.0

I'd never buy a watermelon. Melon's OK, as a slice, .... but there's too much "watery nothing" to get through a whole one.0 -
Hawaiian Pizza's about the only pizza I'd turn my nose up at. Reminds me of the peach omelette my flatmates made once. A mistake never to be repeated.:o
I wouldn't turn my nose up if someone served it up to me. But I would pick off all the pineapple first, then try to erase all memory of its presence on the pizza
I like the general flavours of North African food, but would again pick out the fruit first.
As far as I'm concerned the only fruit going anywhere near a curry is tomato (:)).
With pork, I'd rather have gravy and mustard than apple sauce. Never tried it with anything cider-related (though after a bad teenage experience, can't say I'm a cider fan). Fruit is just about passable in a stuffing, but I'd still rather it wasn't there.
I've tried Cumberland sauce before and have to admit I did like that. I'll also allow cranberry sauce with turkey, and lingonberry sauce with Ikea meatballs (not that I've had those for years).0 -

But, given completely free rein over a pizza toppings I'd have: chilli beef, any/all colours of bell peppers, jalapenos, onions (red/white/both), extra mozzarella and .... PINEAPPLE0 -

I just turn up and let it down out of the elastic band and 2-4 clips when I get there.0 -

Haha, yes, most do, it's an old joke. I do, because I want them to know they cannot style my sort of hair as well as me, and not to give me crud about how it will only work if straightened permanently and what terrible condition its in.
Kiwi now clean.
But, dh and I have just had a ' do we laugh or cry moment' having checked most of upstairs we knew that the flora had been replaced apart from the landing. The original floor boards left are sponge with treated woodworm and will never be useable again.
For years now I have been looking for the bathroom floor I was prepared to compromise on and have mentioned here, the coconut or cinnamon flor boards, and found the coconut one last week. Hundreds of hours have gone into this search for something I saw in editorial then forgot where.
Today we took up the west room carpet.......it's only ruddy decent floorboards. :rotfl:0 -
I forgot to mention sweet/sour chicken (balls, or hong kong style) .... nice with pineapple included.0
