Apparently he was setting up the laptop in the morning, prior to jumping in the shower to get ready for a video call, and completely stuffed it up.
I can believe it too... this poor chap is technologically illiterate, or was when I worked with him.
Needless to say the story has now gone a bit viral....:D
Oh, so not seated. Oh well. Hopefully he was only planning a quick shower, else it gets worse from there on in......
Still, I can think of worse things to do. What's a little innocent nudity in the scheme of things?:)0 -
for fc123 if she pops in.
primark are trialling clothes with asos.
I read that today in the DM....and why o why am I reading a DM? Cos I am away solo on my special 50th pressie...a whole 5 days in a luxe spa all on my own *bliss*
OH got every family member to get me a gift card and they had a deal of 2 4 1 so I booked a 4 4 2
....and you have DM's lying around the place....and Bazaar, Top Sante etc....and a fab free glossy mag called 'Carribean Island investor'.
I only ever read the Sunday one (MoS) but I can undersatnd now why parts of middle England live in a kind of fear. It's sort of funny too.
My jokey aside fell flat whilst I was waiting for my massage.....saw the 'Carribean Island Investor' mag and said to the lady next to me how they had the perfect mag for me....and she thought I was seriousHave spent large portions of today pre-weeding in the garden (it is what happens when your weeds are so large you can't even see the proper plants. This year has been a killer for gardening).
Is anyone else having a nightmare gardening year? Can't only be us.
Didn't help that all the building works destroyed half the front garden.lostinrates wrote: »Either option iOS so easy I would have gladly cooked. And left them to eat a romantic supper while I nipped up to have a BATH:rotfl:
Nice builder is in next week to do some snagging and also to rip out the 'third bedroom' for investigatory works to see what the bathroom is gonna cost us. It will be exciting to make another r big destructive change.. Shame to lose the spare room. We'll have to organise downstairs better so that the sofa bed is no longer in the kitchen but in what we have used until now as a dining room, and will be a second sitting room. Then the dining room stuff has to go into the concrete floored messy old 'garden room' where the dogs sleep.
...anyways, I am off to sleep in 20 mins so I am fresh for tomo...6am start.going for a 20/20 walk/run for an hour then I have planned myself another full-on day.:)0 -
Micheals, Blackheath is dead pricey.
We still can't afford to live in the good bits..0 -
Michaels, why not look at areas that aren't already priced up? You can get a feel for the areas that will always be tricky and the ones that can change.
My friend just sold a semi (3/4 bed 30's) that was a prime plot for an extension. Doubt planning would have let then back build a 2nd house on the site though...it was Cator Estate and they don't like that sort of thing round theres
She sold for a million and a bit few months back0 -
oh, happy birthday fc!0

Happy birthday fc _party_Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

This is how it should work but for some reason these days when it is your birthday you seem to be expected to buy cake for everyone else.0
