would it be extravagant to be going away tomorrow and getting pizza delivered tonight?

    :/
Absolutely .... but you'll do it anyway :)

The whole point of being MSE ... is to be able to identify and appreciate "value" and "treats" and apply them accordingly.

    It's TREAT NIGHT for you!

Client popped on this morning to ask if I had any thoughts on their emails....

    'Yer what?'

Hotmail strikes again. There seems a good chance I am not getting more than one persons emails. :(

Oh and I met up on the train this evening as we had both had work commitments in London today. It was luck as mobile communicaions had been a bit hit and miss.

As we sat beside each other close to our destination I got his text asking what carriage was I in cloesly followed by his voicemail suggesting I catch the x train. Vodaphone..at home I live with the no/low signal...but hours of delay in central London?

If you are recommending this strategy to me, then I can only say that it reminds me of the famous recipe (erroneously attributed to Hannah Glasse) that begins "First catch your hare".

    Oh Lydia. No offense meant.

Just acknowledging my own good fortune.

My supper tonight: smoked oysters, glass of wine. It can go on the list of not healthy meals with some of Pasture's nights, huh?:D

I love smoked oysters, and it feels a bit like having canap!s on my lonesome.

Meh, she might not have a hare but she has two leverets she could get in training. Both will need to know how to iron, even if they choose not to in later life.:D

I had a bit of a posh alert dinner tonight - osso bucco. To bring it back down to earth I had it with some packet veg rice from Lidl.
