Can I adopt a bunny? Whenever I am back in the Midlands, I go into the put shop that is a few doors away from where my mum works and visit the rabbits. I usually manage to 'choose' at least one that I would like too. :o

Edit: Pleased to hear that Jenny is 'moving' too! And congrats your friend. I suppose it is more unusual and therefore special to be attending someones ordination (?)/ ordaining (?) than a wedding.

When you get your property you can make a nice home for a pair of bunnies. We always have older/rehomed/foundlings.

Friend has raised two kids, given up her career as a peadiatrician in a challenging sub specialty, finishing her Oxbridge degree now, did a stint at Yale and has been given a sensitive curacy...she makes me feel like I am not really trying at life. I really think she is made for this though. I may place a bet on her making it to Bishop.

She has been given a 3 bed house in a fab small city..but has a large house with her OH about 12 miles from there. He has seen the house and had an Oscar Wilde moment declaring "either the wallpaper goes or I do!" so she may be living there mostly on her own...so I will visit.

Yup too much on here for me. Sorry if I missed anything.

I got chatting to one of the girls from corporate comms and I accidentally promised to ride to Brisbane from Sydney and get sponsored for it.

    Damn.
you know you want to cycle 1000km really :) Think of the chunky leg muscles you'll have afterwards.

Sorry to hear about old horse LIR :( but those chicks are cuties.

Oh dear.... another day that OH took MIL to view an overpriced microscopic rented flat. This one had no space for a washing machine as the kitchen was a tag on to the living room. She's not well enough to drag stuff to a launderette really so looks like this one is a no no too.

The one she does like is over budget and wouldn't be in the price bracket we could afford to buy in so......eeegh it was all meant to be so simple.

One more tomo and then that's the current crop on RM done. Snag is it is the nicest so far and we are 2nd viewers so the 1st may take it anyway.

We'll have to wait for some more to come up.

The kids talk was interesting, I always was so lucky that ours never had any learning issues other than the usual CBA bit in teenage-hood. Actually, that was quite hard to deal with @ times but they grew out of it quickly enough.

My worst moment in the past year or so was when I realised that there was something inside the leg of my jeans.... and I realised it was yesterday's knickers (thong). So, I had to get it out and into my pocket without anybody realising :)
After my shower as I get dressed I tend to stick my comb in my hair and then comb it as I am passing a mirror. ON several occasions ?I have then found it there as I was dropping the kids off at school and once when I was on the train. DW who would obviously have spotted this 'fashion statement' kindly keeps quiet and joins in the sniggers :o

I was sort of imagining that while our virtual selves might be 'loosely based' on our actual selves that the software would allow us a bit of poetic licence...

DD2 keeps talking about wanting rabbits. .

If I am having a virtual me you can bet your Tesco points I am going to make it an improvement on the real me.

If she persists and will share the responsibility with you...why not?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Sue, what an amazing age for a dog to reach!

Spirit, I think I'd be excited about going to an ordination too, all the more if the person were dear to me.

Rabbits taste delicious. I have had a pet rabbit (he was a rescue) but I never quite feel they are well adapted for domestication in most of their situations. We take a cute and often very tame creature ideally suited for living underground in groups and make it live alone or in a very small social group and above ground.

My rabbit was a hutch and house rabbit, thankfully all the dogs ignored him, apart from one who wanted to me his mummy. When we opened the back door in the mornings dogs and a rabbit would go hurtling out to run together.

Rabbits are insanely cute though, and if I hadn't had one I might not have realised what big personalities they can have. My rabbit was a boob man, he adored my mother and would leap onto her boobs from someone else's arms if he thought he had a half decent chance of reaching her he took it.

It is shocking how poor/small/cr4ppy one bed flats are .... and at such a high price. "Only" another £100/month usually gets you 3-4x the space, garden, parking, etc etc etc. People living alone really get the sh1tty end of the stick :)

The home check makes sure you can offer the bunny the right environment..suitable housing etc. They are usually homed in pairs..so you would need to be very hungry.

I was going to train the bunny to be a forensic accountant and get it to do all my work for it. Pastures is the one eating them. Outrageous if you ask me.

I'll eat the rabbit, then do that job.

Always been fascinated by the thought of going through books to spot where "it went wrong", or to spot strange movements.
