Who knows what might happen when I have a little place all of my very own (assuming I don't need to get a lodger in asap
).
I miss nudity.
Will it ever be warm enough? Failing that I miss weird clothes...but old girls snot gets on stuff so wearing stuff I can boil wash is pretty important ATM.0 -

And, as I live alone, just trundling around 24/7 in a T shirt and thong isn't an issue ..... which is also why I hate random knocks at the door. People who live alone only bother getting dressed when they're actually going to go out!
So....just answer the door like that,. Or keep a fancy dressing gown by the door...one that says ' I am lounging in fancy silk' not ' I am sobbing in towelling'

He said he'd check next door to find out what work he was due to do (wasn't me imho).... so I decided to get dressed between then and when he might be back..... I was half way there and he knocked again - and I had to work out whether it was quicker to continue getting dressed, or to get undressed again.
I next opened the door back in my joggers/T shirt, with my T shirt inside out and back to front
A few weeks ago, someone at work kindly pointed out I had my cardigan on inside out. Luckily it was first thing in the morning0 -

Spirit household news:
Sunday...DD...a 25 year old who works, is mid dissertation, missing having a horse to ride, and getting to grips with life after our loss goes to the RSPCA to get new 'older neutered male' to keep our single older female bunny (Molly) company (we also have a young bonded pair).
They have no bunnies matching teh requirement, so she comes hoem having reserved the pair of bunnies who had been there the longest and were hard to home. We await a home inspection...and she is still on the look out for a companion for Molly. So we will shortly be up to 6 rabbits.
Monday...DD...has a day off to work on her dissertation..I ask her to take one of the older chickens to the vet and explain the symptoms. The vets are very quiet (horse fair nearby today) and she gets the first appointment of teh day. DD explains to the vet that said chicken (Angela) is "a bit quiet". Vet admits that not many clients bring in chickens for this reason. On withdrawing her finger from internally examining Jenny, Jenny projectile poo'd covering the table, floor and walls. Jenny has tablets in case she is brewing an infection, is in isolation from the other chooks and definitly is not constipated. We are £57 poorer.
22 June the three of us are going to see Daniel Radcliffe in a play..as we need to get out more.
Then just now a lovely call ..a close friend is being ordained and her husband has called to confirm we have been invited. I am so pleased for her and am looking forward to it more than I have to some weddings I have attended...is that odd for me to think this?0 -

Can I adopt a bunny? Whenever I am back in the Midlands, I go into the put shop that is a few doors away from where my mum works and visit the rabbits. I usually manage to 'choose' at least one that I would like too.
Edit: Pleased to hear that Jenny is 'moving' too! And congrats your friend. I suppose it is more unusual and therefore special to be attending someones ordination (?)/ ordaining (?) than a wedding.0
