Welcome to the 2nd Dress Rehearsal; stars/delegates entrance
If you win and are in the money, perhaps you can buy those girls some new white shirts in slightly larger sizes.....
They all seem to be wearing one a bit too small (-:...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I like it
- I've been known to take a bottle of hot chilli sauce with me when I've been working away from home for a week.
Dh didn't used to like 'hot' food a lot.
For some reason we have loads of bottles of tobasco. He got it last year. I cannot remember if he won it or bought it on special offer or what, I just remember being amused but also a bit horrified......dozens of tiny novelty bottles of tobasco. Now suddenly everything in the fridge has 'heat' in it.0 -
We;re going to a wedding tomorrow.
Couldn't find a new dress I really liked, so I'm wearing a Ghost royal-blue one I've already got, with a dark silvery jacket and similar shoes.
I'm going to wearing a new necklace instead - made from lots of very tiny (1.5mm) freshwater pearls and one larger chunk of lapis lazuli.
What do NP think? If you don't like it, say so, honesty always good....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Love bronze PN. I am a 'warm metals' person.0

Lovely ..... as you'll look wearing it.
I love shiny things...... but my 'style' is for very plain/simple things as a rule.0 -
I love that necklace too. Really beautiful. Far too ladylike and sophisticated for me, but lovely for you NdG. I love things that suit their wearers, both in looks AND personality.0

I also tend to go for simple jewellery, so its not really for me. But I think it will look gorgeous with a blue dress, and like lir said - I think it will suit you very well.0 -

I'm not sure I'm remotely lady-like or elegant, apart from when I'm all tarted up for a wedding. But I like it, the colours are very good on me (very pale skin, fair hair) and I love both pearls and lapis.
It's not actually that big - I know it's hard to tell from a photo with no scale, but the lapis is only 9mm long....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
Evening all. I'm late in from work tonight (hence why I'm not at the Eurovision jury final)...
Thanks for comments earlier CK, DH will be on his way home tomorrow, this was just a quick out and back for the jury final - one of the benefits of working for an airline is that it is quick and easy to do.
Quick question for CK too.... What's the latest on Abba? I guess a head of steam has built up within the venue about that one. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
