;) it's viva's husband who is going to be there.

Maybe you can get him some VIP access to something or some introductions to your team members after the performance so he can meet them and get something signed?

A piece of glass, from the sea, so pitted with age.

    Sea glass!

Are you going to make jewellery from it?
...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.

It's really bad luck to bring lilac into the house, supposedly. I never normally pay heed to that...not least because I love lilac and its such a short season. I have bunches of lilac and apple blossom off the duff apple tree through out the house. I suppose I should surround them with broken shards of mirror to complete the look of bad luck.

    Lol PN.

There wasn't much of a garden here at all.....no flower beds or anything, but I love our lilac trees. Sme our white and some are the 'lilac' colour. This year we hope to dig a trench around them to prepare them to attempt to move them, otherwise eventually we will lose them in the developments here.

Well, save him th arduous flight and have him closer. There is a massive cycling community I around here, so maybe he'd be happy.

And gen would be more fun than a gnome (also I am looking for a cool and not plastic gnome :o).

    He is great! Pretty perfect.

I will probably resist for a couple of months, because this has been an expensive month.
