When OH and I went to Fresher's Fair at uni in our second year (before he was my boyfriend, we were just mates then) he wondered why the LGBT lot were chatting him up with so much enthusiasm - I reckoned it was a combination of his navy velvet trousers and his Mum's stretchy white fitted T-shirt that he'd mistake for one of his and nicked from hom.PasturesNew wrote: »
Well...... they seem to have forgotten that those of us that always say "I" have to because we have no "we" .... unless we are schizophrenic
OH is reading a book called "The Self Illusion", and apparently, some schizophrenics can tickle themselves, while the rest of us can't.PasturesNew wrote: »
Ignoring the exploding tits angle, she looks much older than 30!
It beats me how some people think, "massively cheapo operation in a place where I don't speak the language or understand what's going on - yay!"...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -
I find the bank staff have been instructed to chat even if you just want to be in and out quickly. I tend to choose the supermarket checkout based on whether I want to chat to the operator :-)
Allegedly if you sit on your hands until you lose feeling you can then touch yourself and it feels like it is another person...I think....0 -

If I buy a cucumber, I'll have to find a way to eat it all.... and I already have a cut down shopping list because everything has to be eaten before it goes off.
1/4 of a cucumber in one baguette? Blimey, you'd eat for England. I'd probably put 1/8th of half a cucumber in a baguette or sandwich.
DD loves cucumber. She likes to eat a whole one at a time - doesn't cut it up or anything, but just sits there taking bites from it.That's very true. However, you could walk to the cash dispenser and take out £10. Then walk round the corner to the bank and pay it back in again. If you did that a couple of times a day, then according to the statistics you would live forever.
"A correlation does not necessarily imply a causal relationship"
Mind you, I think I might have gone a bit too far teaching that to my Y7s. They can now speculate about alternative reasons for any correlation you mention to them, to the extent that I'm not sure they'd believe any evidence about anything.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

The final running order will be officially presented in about an hours time.
I can say, that Bonnie will be on 15th, and you should vote (on the app, for free, of course) for 10, 22 and 25
I'm a little nervous about being on so late in the competition, but such is life! I just don't want another repeat of one of the dress rehearsals for the semi!

It was why the word 'officially' was used.
The balls were done last night, hence the running order was released in the press conference last night.
5th 1am finish in a row tonight, so I apologise if I'm a little snappy.💙💛 💔0 -
So, what happens in the official announcement? It's a bit weird squeezing even more ceremony out of this thing. Perhaps for the official reveal we need a camp performance and some fireworks or the fog effect and wind blowing a back the hair and over done dress of an over made up and strangely dressed person as they read put the announcement?Malmö, Sweden - The organisers of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, SVT and the EBU,have revealed the running order for the Grand Final on Saturday.
