Who do you thinks going through?

I think Georgia, Israel, Norway, Armenia, Albania, Romania, Azerbaijan and 3 more :)

Norway, Romania, the bloke in the box (can't remember the country), Malta (I hope). Don't know about the others.

I don't think Hungary will go through. Singing a simple song in your native language when it is the hardest to speak in Europe is probably not a great strategy for breaking out of the semis.

ETA: DH says Finland should go through, but I think that's his straight alter ego trying to escape.

My husband was in Bulgaria earlier in the week and is in Romania now. One more sleep and he will be home. On the phone just now I asked him if there was interest in Eurovision there..he said no one had mentioned it.

We are going out on Saturday evening for the first time in months...to see Felicity Kendal in something in London. OH booked it and I have forgotten what he said. We intend to drive up there in time for supper beforehand. Theatre visits seem few and far between these days. We used to go regularly to Chichester.

Chichester is being done up this year so there will be some productions in the Minerva (smaller theatre on site) and in a Tent I think. OH has had a marketing email from them today..it has worked... we will book something.

And those doing all those things will have more disposable income to be able to do those things.

If you've got £0, every day, you can spend £0. And there's not a lot that can be done, alone, with £0.

That's very true. However, you could walk to the cash dispenser and take out £10. Then walk round the corner to the bank and pay it back in again. If you did that a couple of times a day, then according to the statistics you would live forever. :)
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

But of course... I refer you to that temple of wisdom, Wikipedia:

Essentially, companion of the other sex to hide a different sexual orientation.

I'm not going to be fooled into clicking on that link. I've been on the internet too long for that.

Further to the study/cashpoint .... there was another daft and ill-concluded study in the week that said that people who said "we" are less likely to be/become depressed than people who only ever used the phrase "I".

Well...... they seem to have forgotten that those of us that always say "I" have to because we have no "we" .... unless we are schizophrenic :)

We believe its essentially saying just that. (That's me and pink whistley here. )

The thing about a self-employed singleton is tha with modern technology it's possible to spend an entire week without actually speaking to anyone IRL. So I can see the walk to the bank thing actually being a good idea for some.
