PN you can eat most vegetables raw, broccoli, string beans, french beans, mange tout sugar snap peas, we often only end up with half we started with cooked with the meal as everyone wants one or two to munch when they are being prepared.I think....0

It's the second Eurovision semi final, just started on BBC3, for anyone who's interested.
ETA: good heavens, that's a dress and a half. Is that front bit so big because she's got Serbia's big knickers on underneath?
I am watching secret eaters... but that's just finished, so what I usually do next is find a random channel that's passable to stop at. I'll find bbc3.
But ... now I am super confused. I thought Bonnie Tyler was doing her bit.... so what am I watching here?0 -
Who is this annoying speaker with the cr4ppy/annoying faux American accent? Talking b0ll0x.... where's Terry or Graham?

I noticed that one of my composters has a significant amount of ants in & around it.
Is this going to be a problem? Or could it be a good sign?
I planned to start using some of it for repotting over the next couple of days. Looks like I need to repot a few carrots, my cucumber, and some of the beetroot that I started off in trays. Busy weekend then!
LJ, I know you will understand.
I have sproutage too.:T I am a very unsuccessful gardener so I need the encouragement.
Hispi cabbages, runner beans and lupins (in the potting shed) and lettuce in a cloche in the veg patch.
One of the courgettes I planted is looking as if something has had a go at it...might be chooks:(0 -

She's Ana Matronic from Scissor Sisters. He's Scott Mills from t'radio. You get Graham if you can bear to do it over on Saturday.

Second semi final definitely weaker than the first. Bring back last year's babushkas! I need some excitement. The only ones I really enjoyed were Malta and Norway. Here's hoping the final act - Romania - really bring it.
ETA: Romania not bringing it - but fab comedy value! And extremely homo-erotic.
I don't understand how so much of Eastern Europe is so anti gay when I see stuff like this. There must be some bl**dy big closets. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing?
