Pastures, I was thinking about food waste, and it occurs to me I do DELIBeRATELY leave something on my plate almost every meal. Dh and I always refer to the deliberate bit of food left on the plate as 'Paul mcKenna'. (Its one of his 'must' rules to adhere to. Recently for a reason that is a long and not terribly interesting story I have been trying to leave two distinct 'things' or bits of a meal on the plate, and the one that isn't Paul McKenna is Barry manilow.0

Perhaps I'm actually a 16 year old boy in Birmingham, and I'm making up all this stuff about a nearly-ex-husband dying etc etc.
I didn't mean to suggest you (or any Nice People) were lying Lydia  More that I wouldn't be able to understand if anyone did lie on the NPT - what would be the point? Granted, a lot of what we post is on the more mundane side (what I post definitely is), so doesn't lend itself so well to elaboration (I really did make pineapple upside down cakes in loose-bottomed cake tins on Thursday), but I don't get why anyone would make things up to post on here

I'm staying out of it.
I feel content that a fair few nice people have been here, met my dh...seen things here. What I don't like to answer ( here or in real life ) I DO ignore, evade or distract before lying, but would fudge details if required.
I don't think many people tell the truth and the whole truth. Some manage the nothing but the truth bit.
And so,e times truth is stranger than fiction! :rotfl:0 -
