I have thought of a brilliant money-making idea for all the NPs! :j:j:j:j

We need to run dog training classes with a difference - training dogs to do their poop straight into the bag, so it doesn't have to be scooped up. It's bound to be a winner, and we'll soon all be on Dragons Den pocketing huge bundles of wonga.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

When I was young two puppies my mother bred had a thing about stealing little plastic baggies. Instead of poo in a bag we had bag in a poo often. Revolting.

I walk in place dog poop is allowed, because (outside metropolitan pressure) nature takes care of it a darn site better than nature copes with bags full of poop and smeared in it left hanging from trees, fences etc.

At home we have a huge poop scooper and how and where best for disposing of poop is a hot topic.:o

Old horse is back on antibiotics. :)

Vet asked if I would consider taking some rehab clients. :). Considering we live near a large posh rehab yard I feel rather chuffed at this. :). Not sure I will though, because its a lot of social stress for the long termers. I might say yes with a minimum term. Hmm.

We were having nice thoughts today re Old Horse and so pleased that you are trying a course of antibiotics. We all pray that they work and good health returns.

You might be able to get a cheap holiday caravan to tide you over until the 2nd week of July. Somebody might prefer to rent to you for, say, May/June rather than the hassle of having two 1-week bookings in that period with the changeovers.

That is a good idea PN I will search around in the morning and see what comes up and keep you posted.:)

Bertie, divert any prayers to looking for a good end for her.

Old horse is a veritable methuselah. My vets have never see a horse like her reach this age, neither have I. She is almost double the age of special girl who was considered aged. Old girl is not going to get better, this is basically palliative care, to keep her as well as possible until we have to take the decision to put her to sleep, that will be within the next few weeks, couple of months if we are lucky, She simply would not last winter, and having heard the long range forecast is cold to mid/late April I think we'll be lucky to have her see spring. Because of the cold in her joints she cannot lift her legs very well and I
Drags her feet (more than usual) so it's possible that I will have to take a decision that her feet are not 'structurally sound' and PTS as soon as they look uncomfortable but more likely its going to be an uncomfortable decision based on a balance of letting her go when she feels good still...timing when good enough ends is proving one of the greatest challenges of animal care I have faced.

We have not long got home from our trip to warminster for coffee break etc then on to Frome to visit a Bungalow that ticks the boxes but has oil fired hot water and CH. Never had the experience of oil at all and do not feel comfotable at the moment.

We loved the Frome area quite a lot and then treated ourself to lunch in Sainsbury's of all places.:) called at the Tourist Info Centre and was very impressed with the service.

Next onto Trowbridge which nearly sent me around the bend, it is like Polo mint city, roundabouts around roundabouts and I am sorely unimpressed with the negative vibes that we received. We viewed a property that had a Sold sign outside and the EA when asked said that it had been already sold twice and at the lasy minute two buyers had pulled out and the EA said that they did not know the reason for rejection.

We believe that it may have been from the volume of traffic that was using this quite narrow road to make shortcuts from Canal Road / The Down / Delamere Rd and that was at 3pm today, at rush hour it must be very busy.

When we arrived home the buyer of our property had called a few time while we were out as I did not give them my mobile number so I called and they were asking if it would be possible for them to be able to move in on the 8th April. So we will call our Solicitor in the morning and see what they are saying.

To make matters a little more complicated SB asked if Dad could bring all of her bits and pieces that she had sored here in her bedroom, through to her place in Portsmouth. That would be a full car load of 'stuff' :) I think that I will be working a few nightshifts to get it all done. Never mind we are among friends.

Diversion in place and we understand how you must be feeling of what we had to decide last Friday evening, that was heartbreaking and brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it.

Oh, I thought it was tomorrow you were up this away. :)

Oil is not scary to live with, just keep an eye on the level and make sure it doesn't run empty. It's not cheap, but its easy.

Had to chuckle about your impression of Trowbridge. I often think the people in charge of the road budget didn't understand that they had that much to spend up to, not that they HAD to spend that amount. There are many nonsensical roundabouts in the areas around Trowbridge as well that would be better as traditional junctions. Not even sure which one is deal mere road, I will have to check next time I am over that way.

I think one of the things to think is just as you like this area for ease of getting to places and day trips, so do many logistics companies and industry. Because its the a4rse end of the county there is less 'historic' issue to prevent planning and a sore need for jobs, plus with good routes to m4 and a303 and the very really necessity for most of the population to commute out of the area for work, traffic and odd 'modern' road design is an issue in Trowbridge ( and some other towns around here) and it can be very hard to get away from it.

Crikey, what a day this has been on the internet. Have been trying to work today and it has been a nightmare sending large files. Urrrggghhhh.... Just watching the news about the scale of the problem. What's everyone else's experiences been like today?
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

    Teddies, or tennis?
Have you been watching tennis/has it been on - and did he think you might be thirsty as tennis players are thirsty?

Most def teddies....god knows why he said it!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.
