There are no Mortgages involved on either side so that may shorten the time involvement so we will start packing in earnest on Thursday in fact my OH has stated already to take her mind of Tasha.

Yes we will work in time to call into a Letting Agency in Warminster if we get time. Good idea thanks...:)

Yes, I would seriously consider renting for a time while you explore these areas and get your own feel for them.

Dh trusts me. :). I would not consider not telling him. It's a negligee, so there is some sizing room, not a a bra. (Phew). I haven't tried it on, but my guess it will fit....just.

It's in one of my vary favourite colours. Which is thoughtful. Just maybe a bit too thoughtful. My imagination is creating normalising scenarios and this is the one I like best:

Friend is buying underwear for some girl and sees this and thinks, oh, lir likes that colour I'll get that for her.

Edit: even odder, I have had a look and its neither this season nor in the outlet of the la perla website. Hmmm.

Oh well, be grateful for gifts I guess. My la perla buy of choice might have been this set though http://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/esmagazine/trends-mental-oriental-8495478.html?action=gallery&ino=5

I wish I had a thing for pretty and matching. I love how they look but I never manage to buy them or wear them in sets! I wear pants once and bras multiple times so would have to buy loads of pants for a single bra.

But normally just stick to m&s cotton ones. I don't like satin/satin-feel things.

I buy multiple pants for bras (usually two, but then I hand was the bra and machine wash the pants, so I might machine the pants before hand washing the bra iykwim.

I prefer cotton to anything else, but there is a difference (to me) between silk satin and poly satins. :o. This is satin, and a gorgeous colour, but tbh I would not have bought it. I don't wear things in bed usually, but its very decent so I could wear it to breakfast etc. I have a much more to my taste black chiffon negligee and knickers which are lovely but totally indecent (and too small) which is much more my style but not appropriate for wearing to breakfast with anyone other than dh.

Matching is a bit ambitous for most mornings:o

Silk knickers are a nightmare. In my experience they fall down. Definitely safety first here.

They don't fall down for me, (might depend on style worn?) but are seriously unsuitable under tights. :)

The only silk knickers I had were ones I bought in Selfridges for my wedding day.....now ex husband but at the time husband, washed them with a load of dark colours and they ended up a horrible dirty grey colour.

Pretty pair they were and blooming expensive, think they cost me about a tenner way back in 1987!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I suggest that you keep your eyes fixed on your beautiful wife and forget about our knickers.

Its funny, heterosexual men like women's knickers, women like women's knickers, but rarely do we get excited about men's pants. :rotfl:

Oh I don't know LIR, a sexy black pair of pants do it for me anyday!

Must be pants though, not thongs, boxers or shorts...or god forbid, Y fronts!

Anyone decipher this little nugget from my youngest?

I said I wonder why I am so thirsty tonight and his reply was "Because of the teddies" Planet Zog time I feel....

I thumbed through RM today. A house caught my eye. Too many compromises though:
    - £15k more than I've got.
    - Orientation is all wrong so the living room is always in shade/shadow and dark
    - Wrong location, by 0.5 mile, and up a street and round the back, past everybody's garages.
    - It doesn't have a garage, just a carport.

Too many important compromises there.... price and orientation being the two I couldn't overcome or excuse.

Our back garden is north facing, we thought this to be totally wrong. In practice, the sun streams down the garden and all but one corner of the patio gets sun in Summer. On hot days it is pleasant not to have sun streaming in through the windows but to look out on a sunny garden.
