We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -
Good effort! He's a very good drummer IMHO. Perhaps a little work on the open high hat would be even better? (Not sure if that's the technique or the equipment).0 -

I did in the endPN - I think you should still go out and get some nice food. We had a very sharp shower here, but the skies have cleared and the sun is out. I can give you more reasons if you need
Got a huge goody haul from visiting Morrisons, CoOp and Lidl. Spent about £13 .... mostly yummy stuff
Tricky things were that Morrisons have no car park, so could only get what I could carry .... and a lot of stuff I fancied was just too pricey. Cheapest mature cheddar I could find today was £5.20/Kg. Picked up an 'interesting' pizza at Lidl - El Tequito Chilli con Carne.... I'll know in 10 minutes if that's any good. 99p wasn't a bad price for a new experience 0 -

Closed high hat sounds and looks good to me, it's just when it's open that there's a problem. The timing is hard to get I believe. I am not a drummer.
I think less is more with the sticks and the high hat. If you look around 4 mins into this:

the drummer is almost only using the pedal. I think he's trying to get the same effect as the Single Sue-issomo, the timing looks tricky though as you'd have to press the pedal off tempo as it opens the cymbals. Worth practicing along to this perhaps? It's an awesome song, one of the greats, so perhaps it'll make the Single_Sue household a nicer place to be for a few weeks.
Stevie Wonder IMHO uses the very, very best musicians there are available. How difficult must it be for a blind black man to become one of the great (greatest?) soul singers of all time? He can't leave anything to chance.0 -

Isaac went to the cinema at the Barbican this morning for a birthday party - so OH and I decided to catch up on our sleep too. Yep, that's what happened with mine. One day it wasn't there, next day it was. However I reiterate, it's when they are left they are really bad. You're doing all the right stuff.Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
