We are a bit mid market for Farfetch I think.0 -

I know easy for moi as OH is a handy type of guy (he spent the day laying a wooden floor and fitted a run of Pax wardobes).0 -
I have.... it's a luxe drop shipping site (and very nicely done). The other one called Miinto shut down recently (it was rubbish).

...but if there is a grotty one (say old persons one that has had nothing done for years) but in fab location + you buy @ 20k less, then that could be a decorating fund.

You know what...I am going to apply as we go into HoF online as a concession in about 3 weeks time (the IT bit is taking forever to set up).....and I get confused with my markets sometimes. I think I am a bit sarf east lundun in my thinking as well.....
The thing with online is you can never really know where your market will appear from ... so there's a lot of faffing about getting 'everywhere' just to work out the duds from the wins.... although with a stock list on one site it's easy enough to do a csv export, then import - and you've already got your branding/identity and corporate wording sorted.... so just a couple of days' work to open up.0 -

I know...but I don't mean some wreck or an older property but something post 1980 should be pretty sound, just with tired decor.
Or 1930's? They are solid houses....but it's the stuff like rewiring that adds up.0 -
I am appalled at the idea but do not want to be judgemental. I am very conservative.
NP thoughts please, do I support her decison without further comment and help her or sound out the option of highlights?
I can't actually remember what colour OH's hair is naturally now, and since I started finding grey hair about a year ago, I will confess that I've been getting OH to do my roots for me
I think it's what you're comfortable with; I wouldn't be happy with the thought of either of my DD's doing this, but then they've both got 2ft+, really dark hair.Do you need to get a car in the garage as that probably rules out anything built in the last 25 years...
My 1993 German-spec Granada Scorpio that replaced our 190, and ended up....I don't know where (but not back in Russia, where we bought it), wouldn't fit in the garage of the first house we bought together in the UK, although my 2004 Peugeot 406 would, both estate cars of the same-ish size. This was a normal-sized garage (click here, but please don't quote this link, and I know, my Tenants didn't look after the property, this was the property we mentioned last year. This link will be removed)
When the builders smashed OH's 206, they gave us use of an Opel Omega (Irish plates) for 2 days, and that wouldn't actually get down the back of the properties (gate at the side), so 90s exec cars were obviously a little wide to do anything with!
It was my sisters, she had problem tenants, then it was mine, so I think we both had the same problem!

But, it's about(ish) on price and has room for a garage (subj/PP) ... I'll mull that one for a few hours. Looked many times before online, but I should now at least go and see it.... looking at it: warm air heating, rear potentially insecure, back yard literally about 4 square yards
But ORP and rooms passable.
Can't you do a garage under permitted development?
Warm air heating can be changed...I think....0 -

Wow. Here the are really cheap. Not brilliant mind you, but better than a home job for a first timer I 'd guess. ( note, have done my sibling's highlights with household bleach in the past at their crazy request).
I think home dyeing is fine btw, but think the chances of thins ending happily are increased if she ropes in a girlfriend to help her rather than her mother......girlfriends are 'kinda silly' if things do not go to plan whereas mother's mishaps are HUGE Disasters.
If determined to do her self viva is right...practise with something less permanent and build up with confidence!0
