I also don't wear any jewellrey. I wear a watch sometimes. I got a pocketwatch for christmas that I love.
I hate anything round my neck. Necklaces etc are out. Don't like/see the point of rings. Never had my ears pierced, but did have my eyebrow pierced years ago.

How thick do terry socks feel with shoes? I would imagine you need shoes a half size bigger to fit the socks in.

Dunno - I always put comfort first so may be I have always just worn shoes that are 'too big'

DD is quite a bargain child as she generates income into the business (and she is salaried).....it's almost like one trades off against the other.:) I estimate that DD brings in an extra 300k T/O just with the skills she has .....not the ones taught by us.

We must have had the recipe for the wrong one. I would have liked one like this.

How does that conversation start? How easy is it to get appointments? How long do you get? How much do you disclose about what/why?

I don't throw mine away until they have holes either. I do give mine to DS when they shrink, though.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

I've read the obvious ones: Fahrenheit 451, 1984, Brave New World, Clockwork Orange, Animal Farm.
