    ...
I was thinking about this whole horse thing after the conversation last week. And it occurred to me. Most people will have ridden a bike, or known people who had bikes and seen a lot of them. Most people will have driven a car, known lots of people with cars and been in a lot.

Very few people ever encounter a horse in their life. For many, you see one on one road maybe once every 2 years (and that's me, who doesn't live in a city).

Most people simply have no experience of being on, or around horses, nor mixing with people that have them.

Just heard that we won our court case against our Landlord in Italy. :).
..... before we start on ...
    Well done.

Actually, it's your DUTY to do these things. Because you are in a good position, and are able to take these people on, it is your duty to take them on before they do the same to somebody else who is not in a position to do anything about it.

    DUTY...... :)

Our lovely friend died this afternoon.

We said goodbye to her last night and I am glad for her that she is not in pain.

We were very lucky to have had her in our lives.

I needed to meet up with a young lady and her partner today, so we met at the local McDonalds. It's warm, etc...

She had just come home from hospital, after 3 days there, when she apparently didn't eat at all. Why not, I asked? "I couldn't eat their food. I'm very particular about what I eat," she replied.

I will leave readers to work out what she did next. :D
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Aww... at least you had the chance to show her you cared by being there for her.

Where are you thinking of lj?

It's so long since we have been away anywhere. :). We still haven't decided but we have a short list. Next issue is seeing which have dates available and trying to find a magic spot on the calendar when parent can commit to be here for the house critters, so done is available for horses ( think a client will do that) and dh can get time off.

No idea atm lir. As I say we're restricted to the uk, & 4/5 day breaks. Liked cornwall last year, very scenic and relaxing. May go there again. Considering liverpool, cambridge, blackpool sands, weymouth and tenby as options. We like going where we've never been. Like the look of holkham beach.

Everyone is just bouncing ideas about at the mo...

Yep, that's pretty much how we felt about it.

Duty. And a heavy dose of not nice person scrappiness. :o
