Cheers for the tip - the trouble is I'm not sure exactly where he sprayed so am going to tackle the whole of the downstairs area below knee level which would take A LOT of vodka :D . I was thinking of using Stardrops but I need to make sure it's cat friendly (we have 4 females, hence the occasional visit from the tom). I'll bear that tip in mind though for the future.

In that case, *drink* the vodka - dulls the senses and you won't smell it anymore ;)

Biological wash powder solution is great for enzyme stains (cheaper than vodka too) but if the spraying has gone on the carpet, you'll also need to scrub the floorboards underneath too, or the odour will persist.

    Ok, to clarify ....

    1) make up a solution of bio wash powder
    2) get on hands and knees and begin sniffing/exploring
    3) have a large swig of vodka
    4) when you sniff the whiff, use 1) to tackle the problem
    5) have another large swig of vodka
    6) keep moving around the room on hands and knees to source the pong
    7) swig some more vodka
    8) can't smell any more whiffs? Drink some more vodka - it's working :D

Did anyone see this story - Boy hatches chick from supermarket egg - there's video, too.
It's possible with quail eggs too if you get them from the shop as soon as they come in ;)

Morning Chums ,it's looking a bit dismal here at the moment I am just hoping that the washing on the line will get dried before it pours down. I have to go to the big Tescos today to get some shopping ,my fridge is looking a bit bare at the moment .I am attempting to eat from my cupboards for a few weeks to see if I can run them down a bit . I have been good this week and hardly bought a thing ,but am running out of fresh fruit and veggies . Hope you are all having a good week-end I am just going to potter about this week-end and sort out all of my crafting stuff that I brought back from my holidays .Dinner tommorrow and my DD so I haven't to think about that .I think I may make some strawberry jelly this afternoon as I have a yen for that . I am trying to lose a few lbs that I brought back from my holiday so jelly would be better than rice pud .
<<<hugs>>> to those in need and big smiles for the rest of you take care all.

Morning All. Am in need of virtual hugs today - anniversary of our elder son's death. He died just before hiis 16th birthday - and it's all of 18 years ago. Most of the time I've got it all together, including anniversaries, so no idea why I'm in quite the state I am today. Very snappy with DH and tears all over this keyboard. Sorry. haven't been this way for a very, very long time. Feel free to skip over this post - a real downer today.

    Good morning everyone,

We will be watching eurovision tonight as well - we only watch for Terry Wogan - the music is normally rubbish, but he has me in stitches!!!!

Not feeling good this morning (ladies probs) but luckily we have a free weekend - nothing at all planned!!! So, plans for today, veg out this morning and watch Saturday kitchen and Saturday chefs, hang out the washing (will prob be indoors again tho, as it looks like its going to rain soon) and maybe do some cooking. I might even clean under the kitchen table!!! Actually, ive been fancying doughnuts recently - does anyone have a good recipe????
