Nothing wrong with black. I love black and white. If i am feeling adventurous i team it up with grey. :o

??? How peculiar, as I had exactly a rumbling appendix in the 80's - went on for over 5 years, episodes getting more and more frequent and intense. I could be in agony for 12 hrs and then it would completely clear up. They weren't sure enough to operate because of that until it finally nearly burst - whipped it out and not a murmur since.
Go straight to a&e next time it is that bad.

ds sent home with temp and stomach pains again (was last sent home 2 weeks ago and off for a week). took him to GP, sat for 40 mins couldn't get seen before they closed for the day at 1pm. IF I manage to get through tomorrow (ring at 8 constantly and hope to get through before 8.15 when all appointments will have gone for FRIDAY, I will then be looking at next week gah!) he was writhing in pain screaming at 2 complaining of appendix area pain and vomitting so took him to A&E, by the time they saw him he was much better, and it didn't matter how much I said "he was like this 2 weeks ago only less severe, and no doubt he'll be in agony again at about 3 am" they said it was probably just D&V - again, this will be the 6th or 7th time this year, and the rest of us never catch it, including 4 year old dd.

apparently there's no such thing as a "grumbling appendix" - don't get me wrong, I don't want him to have something serious, but he does have something, and I don't see that it can just be repeated bouts of viruses that not even his little sister comes down with.

That sounds awful, I would also be tempted to keep a food/symptoms diary as it may be an intolerance/IBS, which may be highlighted by the diary.

I too have been reading this and trying to cull stuff, did a car boot sale last week and made a bit of pocket money.

Sorted out underwear/socks and winter clothes and coats, however dug out summer clothing so still got sorting to do.

Threw out loads of paperbacks and also make-up.

Still to do - jeans, shoes, kitchen cupboards, more books. I have decided to throw out my Tupperware - two rice cookers? Really?

Keep up the good work everyone.

thanks re IBS and rumbling appendix, I was sure I knew kids when I was little who had on/off symptoms of appendicitis, and asked about it but the a&e doc said it doesn't exist. next time he is going to go straight there so they can see him whilst he is in the midst of it.

I'll try the food diary, and generally just a diary of when he's ill to show the docs

I've been AWOL as my little DD has measles :( She's 2 and has had all her injections so far so should have been ok but there's been a spate of it amongst her peers at nursery. She's doing well though.

Sold our old pushchair last night which has already gone :) I've also set up my own Facebook selling page to list clothes etc so hoping I can get that off the ground ok and clear out some moe items.

Hope your DS is ok lobby!

poor little measly girl. Hope she is better soon.

I am making the most of a dry morning to get all the clothes, towels, sheets & duvet covers on the line. When they come back in anything ripped or holey will be sorted out. Can't bear to throw away unwashed stuff. I also don't like sewing up clothes that haven't been washed.

Looking forward to the hoarding programme tonight.

Forced myself to go out for a walk last night while DH cooked tea. I enjoyed the walk but still have a bit of a hang up about going out of the door, I don't know why.
