    evening all,
seems everyone has managed to be quite productive today.

had a bad night last night, just couldnt sleep at all, so ended up sleeping for a couple of hours this morning, then decluttered a cardigan someone bought from the local fb pages and got done what i went out to do yesterday. with feeling so drained from being out again, and having the bad night instead of painting, like i planned. i ended up falling asleep on the settee, then helped my husband sort out his fish tank, had to seperate the female as she is carrying a clutch of eggs, but the male was still pestering her, and that could be bad for her, she doesnt eat while holding so will become weak and getting pestered by the male would probably speed things along and could end up loosing her.

hubby wants to rehome the new fish as we arent really set up properly to have these ones, and we dont have a lot of knowledge about them, but we are having problems finding an established tank with someone that knows how to look after them properly. hubby wants someone who will be bale to do these fish justice as they are nice fish, but you really need more know how than we do, all we know is what we have looked up since we had them, and what a couple of people have been able to tell us from their experience. unfortunatey they havnt been able to help by taking the fish as they are allready over capacity in their own tanks.

what does everyone else do when they cant find any energy to do anything, i literally feel so drained its unbelievable, keeping fingers crossed i sleep tonight.

keep up the good work tho everyone, going to have to keep coming on as seeing what others are able to acomplish does seem to help me a little.

I only managed to give OH a bag for the CS but better than nothing! Not true, I cleaned my room and found some things we considered lost in the store cupboard, I'm very pleased. Nothing more frustrating than not being able to find specific things!

    :) Morning all.

Well, spent yesterday feeling pooped, but slept well and ran some errands this morning and plan to go up to the allotment after lunch. Decluttering some rotables into the compost Dalek and then decluttering some weeds into it, as well.

anirtak, sorry to hear that you're not on brilliant form and hope things improve. What some entrepreneur needs to do is open a Mojo Shop, where we could all go and get some extra Mojo with added 'oomph'. They'd make a killing, hey?

When a pal of mine has her fish tank get overcrowded due to their breeding, she sells them back to the pet shop. Is this something you might think about doing, or enquiring about?

Have stripped the bed and am running the washer and have gone through and sorted out all the paperwork related to the utility account which was finalised this week. The credit balance is back in my back and the online version of the account is showing at 0.00 so all looks good.

Because I am a bit twitchy about paperwork, I have put the bills of the old account (stripped of any guff) into a sealed envelope and archived them. I'll keep them for a year or two before I shred them. I can't really account for the rationale behind this, except that I feel someone might want proof that I lived here for this period, that I was with X supplier, that my bills were paid. Cannot really explain this away, except that banging that envelope full of utility bills through the shredder atm would take me right outside my comfort zone and make me anxious.

:o I still have my unfinished curtain project, which requires about another 3 hours, but I haven't had the energy for it. Is sitting tidily folded on top of the sewing machine, so it won't be forgotten......

Definitely worth getting those curtains done at some point, GQ. I keep going in to look at my room. DH is ordering the carpet today. I am excited.

Shredded a small pile of out of date coupons from my bag, and an out of date newsletter. It all helps, honestly. me

Gave some leftover home made pie to my relative. Am freezing other leftovers.

For me, hoarding was parallel to neglecting. The fact that I am giving away decent food that can still be used for someone else's enjoyment shows how far I have come. The fridge used to be neglected.

after an unexpected relative visiting last weekend, followed by illnesses throughout the week (D&V - hurrah), have done little, but it's so gorgeous I care not :) I am super, super skint so was very unhappy to find yesterday that the chicken I bought for relative's visit (which didn't get used when they took us out to dinner) had gone bad in the fridge, but am going to try and use it as an excuse to use up the rest of the fridge contents and delve into the freezer as can't afford a replacement for this week.

freecycler coming tomorrow fingers crossed to pick up some gubbins from the loft (not much).

    :hello: Hiya!

Long time lurking but no posting. :o

It's good to see new 'faces' and all making progress too. :T

I've decluttered one of my two jobs. My last day was yesterday.

I've trousered the money they gave me and stuck the card they signed in my scrapbook.

I've been indoors on this beautiful day wondering what to do with myself.

I've got so much time to myself, so much to do, so many radio shows and tv progs to catch up on, so much housework and so many choices that I'm paralysed by choice. I'm still in my nightie. :o

I've done a bit of tidying, admin (new bank accounts, changed utility suppliers, getting quotes for work) and I'm sorting through my CDs.

I'm ripping a load onto a drive and trying to decide which are keepers and which are for the charity shop.

I'm a nerd collector of the numbered Now CDs and one of the the Amazon suppliers has given me an extra set as a bonus.

The value for a dealer lies in the having all the accessories and this one is missing it's booklet - I've told him that I'm going to get a box and give it to charity. I've already got it (booklet and all). :o

I'm going to carry on doing bits and bobs, tidying, cleaning, changing the bed, sorting stuff for the charity shop and not bother doing anything else.

I've got enough food and drink - I don't need to go out for anything today.

I might get a bit sunburnt tomorrow. :o
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

    evening all,

gq, we thought about selling the fish to a pet shop, but our closest one my husband isnt particurly a fan of them. we have been in a few times and asked advice on a few things we have been confused about and have either walked out more confused, or with no answeres as they dont know themselves and will find out and ring us, but never get that phone call. and even when we have gone back to find out if they have found out the information either they havnt or the person watching the shop doesnt know and will get the owners to ring, again leaving details and get no call, so we stopped going there.
and we are not sure with these fish if they would last a 2 hour journey to the other place we have used in the past being cooped up in the small bags we got.

had a call to say the carpet we looked at has been orderded but will take about a fortnight, thats ok cos it was more expensive than we were hopeing it was going to be and its probably going to take that long to get the rest of the money together, but hitting the middle of the month and getting short again, but thats nothing new, should get some extra money in a fortnight from helping someone out so will use that to pay for the carpet, but thats not goin to be for a fortnight, had better start trying to put away money for a carpet for the living room as id rather not go plain again and its going to be bigger than the one thats just been ordered.

well not got much done again today, so im going to start trying to make a move and get some more stuff done, but i did tidy up the kitchen, that didnt take long, and cooked some food for hubby. took his style of cooking in hand and it actualy worked out well, or so he said, but if it was that bad he wouldnt have eaten it. basically i just threw some chicken onions and peppers into a pan would have been mushrooms as well but he ran out of them, spoon full of mixed dried herbs, salt n pepper, then when that was cooked added half a tin of chicken soup and poured it over some rice. had to take the tin out to prove id used chicken soup as he didnt believe me. not the kinda stuff i eat i eat plain foods lol, so i cant tell you what it actually tasted like, all i can say is it didnt last long on hubbys plate so he must have enjoyed it lol.

right im gonna go find something to do, maybe start on a different room as im fed up of my living room looking like a bomb site, and to add to that now so does my bedroom as i had to pull everythign out of the cupboard to get the drop leaf table out, someone was askign for one, and i finally decided yeah ok will sell it, so got it out took a picture then she found another one, and ihonestly couldnt be bothered putting it all back by the time she let us know she wasnt coming and had found another one.
so im gonna take some painkillers for this headache that has suddenly decided to hit me and try and work thorugh the pain to get something other than cooking and kitchen to do.

    take care all.

anirtak - Preloved & Gumtree are good sites to use to sell unwanted 'stuff' as you can post pictures and there's no charge to post or sell and you can leave it advertised for as long as it takes to sell. Usually bigger stuff goes locally so someone will pick it up.
