As this is a de cluttering site I thought Id make people aware of Freebies site on facebook. We have one in Liverpool and there are many people in need of household items, clothing, books ect.
Im sure there will be one in your area too.
So if you feel you have an item to spare please donate.0 -

Do you have a link for the Liverpool one? Does it work in a similar way to Freecycle?3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
I think the stuff that we sorted years ago is still there somewhere in the parents' house. I think three quarters was for the recycling centre and a quarter for the church bazaar, but my mother (probably on father's instructions) churned stuff around so much in that time that it was impossible to tell which was which so it would have all needed to be sorted again, which I couldn't face at the time. And it think it has got mixed in with all their other crappy things and 'become theirs' now. To be honest, I'd forgotten about it.
Well, am completely caught up on washing (even with DD's wee 'accident' creating an extra small load) and it's all hung out.
We just had time to do another quick hoover so it will feel better returning home.
Got rid of a presentation tin. One of those annoying things that is useful, looks good but floats around the house empty. It has gone to my brother will probably use it.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. More bits and bobs to the Cs. Found a silver bracelet that I alway felt brought me bad luck so cleared out a little of my other silver stuff that holds no sentimental attachment and weighed it - 62 grammes. Had a look on line but it was too much faff so took it to a local jewellers and he offered me 10p over the price per gramme as he can re-sell a bit of it and gave me £25 - now thats a bonus. I did buy 2 rolls of wrapping paper from Mr T at 10p each but it wasnt christmassy it was polka dot so will get used all year.
Hope everyone has sunshine like me and it helps you on with your tasks xxClearing the junk to travel light

I have been at work and am exhausted so [STRIKE]probably [/STRIKE] certainly won't do much tonight.
Howsomever, I did declutter a bar of chocolate from the fridge. It's a tough job but someone has got to do it.
Will now go and declutter some leftovers. Last night, I washed up my supper things as soon as I had finished eating and boy oh boy, wasn't it fast and easy........... who knew?

As anticipated I have neither the energy nor the inclination to do anything major this evening.
However when I was searching for a sheet yesterday I found a pair of nearly new knickers - so this morning I threw out my holey (est) pair.:o
When I was searching for the passport photo I found a pair of socks, so this morning I threw out the holey Hello K!tty socks I've been wearing.
And I decided that since my dad was capable of building a go-kart from scratch he could probably manage to take the elastic from old sheets to turn into rags - so on my way to work I dropped off the two sheets I'd said he could use for rags . complete with elastic, and now gone from chez tuit. Yay :T
I also took an empty piccalilli jar out of the fridge and put it with the other jars waiting to be washed for recycling.
It all helps. I just want to maintain the forward momentum without getting all manic/OTT about it and burning out by Thursday
Good evening

GQ good to know you got rid of that errant choccie bar, it must have been driving you mad cluttering up the place like that - good work
Roundtuit, excellent decision making = stuff gone. Take it slowly, like you say burnt out wont get you far. Just look at all you have acheived in the last few days and realise you have come a long way in a short time. Any minute now you will see a space you didnt have and feel good - thats where I am upto and it keeps me plodding on.
Ds helped me turn my mattress on Sunday - used to move entire rooms of furniture on my own yet now cant turn a bl**dy mattress  Anyway I digress, he spotted a book on the side which was labelled as 'signed' so I suggested he put it on fleabay for me as he can do it quickly on his phone. the damn thing has sat there for 4 years waiting for me to do it. He rang me today, it sold for £35 :T:T:T so I split the money with him, its the least I could do, so quids in today. I like this de-richarding, it certainly has its good moments.Clearing the junk to travel light

Thought I hadn't decluttered at all today but late last night I went through the linen pile and got rid of a tray cloth. It's a pity really, because Mum brought it back from her holidays recently as a gift but I shall never use it and the cs might as well have it in perfect condition. The extra plates came out at the same time and I decluttered part of the Nutella glass mountain. Every time I buy some, I pay a bit more for the reusable drinking glass jar and now we are overrun with them.
So all that is for the 0xfam mountain part 2.
