GMOD i am very pleased cant wait for the day i have proper savings Ones that actually mean I don't owe anybody anything. I am aiming for July next year. Fingers crossed.
Well DS had an amazing swimming session tonight so I allowed him £1.50 to get himself a drink and a bar of choc. Which is all good but i only have £10.50 let out of my weekly budget including the £5 which is still in the bank.
I think I am off on Friday so i have managed to get an extra 2 hrs teaching at the pool so an extra £25 will be earnt this week. I am also debating giving up one job but need to speak to partner etc fingers crossed i can sort something out although will be a decrease of around 5000 a year.:eek::eek:

Well just had to use soup maker went in freezer to get soup out for my lunch. Unfortunately I couldn't find any so used 2 leeks 4 carrots which were on the way out a potato some lentils and a couple of pieces of chicken. 21mins later done. I now have 4 bowls of soup. This means I can take my dinner to work all week.
Not a massive saving but £4 this week and usually £5 so I suppose over a month that is £20 !

A saving is a saving, no matter how small :T I should do the same with the withering leeks in my fridge too....:think: might have a look and see what else I can throw in with it

Well I have managed a week with no cigarettes which is amazing, as I had a horrible day yesterday stress comes to mind but I resisted the wine so didn't have a fag and was in bed within an hour of being in.:rotfl:
OH is going the right way for an argument which is what he wants. He has done nothing but since and is still smoking.
DD walked into baking tray today which had just come out of oven. You can imagine the cross words that came out of my mouth at OH as he had hold of the tray, he had told her to be carefully but she hadn't heard. She has a small red line on her cheek. Lucky no blister etc.

Well I have been to work today was ok it was actually nice to teach the schools i have done today. I also had a 40 minute swim in between lessons which was good.
Have to get money out for brownies today think i owe a fortune.
Today will of paid for subs maybe.
I need to look at my bank later and see how it is doing have car tax this month also got half term this month.

Well i have just been to brownies coffee evening paid subs and one camp off and deposit on the other.
I also have put £50 in my sealed pot as i have completed a full week i thought i should take out of the bank what i would spend and place straight in the tin.
I figured if i did this once a month that is christmas .

Well out tonight with work driving so i dont drink. I dont want to jeopardise my no smoking.
DD got a friend sleeping the night hoping they will behave for OH. Need to log on the bank and see what money i have to play with this month. Have to pay car tax:( runs out in feb.
Worked out if OH would sort his life out and stop smoking and spending then he will be able to pay his debt off this year.

Went for a meal with work did well spent £1 on a tip. I had a small glass o wine when I came home and then went to bed as I wanted a cigarette.
Just waiting for DD and friend to get ready then off to gym. Having chicken for dinner think i will put in the oven before I set off.
Hoping not to spend anything this week.

I've forgotten to budget for half term you've just reminded me!

Well done on the no smoking I think you're doing a great job. Have you gone cold turkey or are you using a product of some sort? When I did my health matters course I was stunned to see just how many products there were to help you stop smoking.

Now that you've paid the car tax how about starting a pot/envelope system to be ready for the next one. Think all taxes are different aren't they but I put £25 in my envelope every payday ready for the car tax.
