Well here goes I had around 23k debt when first had a LBM. Told my mam very hard thing to do on 27th Dec12. She was devastated but supportive offered to loan money for mine and OH debt. I refused you never know what life will throw at you Redundancy etc.
Anyway she has looked into IVA etc knagged me daily but i dont want to go down that route. Was going to do a DMP but i got PPI back and managed to pay overdraft off and transfer bank account. I have 4 ccs which i have managed to get interest and charges stopped on for now.Going to self manage for now. So i am very determined to sort my life out.
I have 2 children which are active and expensive gymnastics not a cheap hobby.
I have worked out the main reason for debt was due to a redundancy and still living old lifestyle using ccs to cover. Silly me.
So my plan sealed pot for children xmas save all i can to pay insurance in one go and every spare penny debt.
Back to the PPI just realised i am going to have a tax bill as they didn't pay tax so i am going to have to get in touch with HMRC and get it sorted out although all that went on debt so looks like another arrangement
After lots of reading of others thought i would start my own diary for myself OH doesn't understand and hoping will keep me determined.

sent a letter to HMRC to see if i can have a flat rate expenses for uniform worth a try. Hoping they say yeah so will be able to knock of what i will owe them. Fingers crossed they go back a few years .

Well i am going to try and cut my expenses even more. 1 bottle of wine a week i think as i am sat here with a glass lol. I am also a smoker so plan is to stop on Monday worth ago. Managed 12 wks last attempt. Thought if instead of trying to save the money if i pay off £1 each cc each day i may realise how much money i actually do spend. Should get some satisfaction from seeing accounts go down then.
I have a demon though OH a smoker and not up for stopping which makes it hard.:(

Well good day today back to work yippee and volunteered tonight so been in the house 5 mins everyone sleeping:) I managed to call into farmfoods and spent £8 on milk bread frozen chips so shouldn't need anything for a few days as there is lots in the freezer and cupboards. They also had curry powder back in so got some for me and my mam, as it is a pound lasts ages and tastes amazing.
Been on banks and all still in credit can't get over seeing cr and not dr it is a nice feeling. However dreaded mot in the next week:( need to get exhaust possibly tyres and clutch slipping so that is getting replaced to. On a positive note OH will be doing all the work so no labour charges, but probably earache for a few days about how much he has done. lol
Only 4 days to go and its pay day 1 (job 2) and then end of month pay day again (job 1) so more debt to go .:)

Well paid £50 off OH card today much to his disgust. Told him he is paying £50 a week until paid not happy but thats life. Brownies paid so my organisation for next week £2 short damnn. Kids going shopping with aunty tomor with my £50 pound vouchers for commitment to work. Company changing hands next month. Very expensive children lol. Hoping for lots of nsd next week and lots of cc payments little steps all the time.
Managed to put £2 in hol fund and £3 in sealed pot yeah. Life hard but going in the right direction.

Can not get over how me and OH differ. He couldn't care less about debt why are we so different. He is so selfish if he would allow me to control debts efficiently would be debt free so much sooner. Cars cars cars that is all he is bothered about. Sorry for rant although only ranting to myself. Need to look at getting 4th job i feel how many hours can one individual work without caving???

Well a bad day money wise today had a blow out and went to pub with family and friends spent £25, never mind have to live and be happy debt not everything. Had a lovely night and wasn't an extortionate spend.
Tomorrow i new day and saved a little for xmas with sealed pot lol so not feeling to bad.

Tesco shop today big shop spent £73 in food and 31 in petrol. Hoping i can get 5 nsd this week. Need to learn to shop with out dd as she costs a fortune would of spent around £10 less. Although only a few treats and some cream for dry skin. Leotard rubbing.
Went to local farm and got 15kg of dog food gone up mind was £9 only £7 last time i bought it. Should last the month though.
Bought my 1 bottle of wine for the week going to try keep it for the weekend, stopping smoking tomorrow so alcohol bad idea. Coffee will be hard enough.

Gutted just as i thought was making progress been on bank to see i have been paid new company comes in on 1st. Looks like i have been paid 2 months in one happy mr taxman 2nd job massive amounts of tax:mad: Anyway that means 10 weeks till next pay day :eek:
So looks like i will be making no progress for a while.
