OP You could follow my grandparents' lead and start buying this stuff...

Useful in the kitchen too if you run out of greaseproof paper.
  • LOL! I understand where you are coming from. How do men use so much?? I mean, they only use it for number 2s. They just give it a shake for number 1s! Women use it for both but use a lot less in my opinion.

My husband works away a lot - a roll might last me a week, but when hes home its lasts a maximum of two days !?!

But I love him. Hate wash days though. I've learned not to look anymore.

I feel your pain, OP. I have the same issue with my OH, just as I did with the one before him. I've tried to explain the wipe, fold, wipe again technique but he is just not interested.

Ah yes, also known as the UTI method.

Maybe he is blowing his nose when he is in there, My OH has sinus problems and bungs up the bog with lots of the roll for this reason too. He likes to sniff and snort in private lol!

Maybe he uses some wet paper to clean then some more to dry?

I remember reading a poo rag thread on here ( something about families who keep a communal rag for wiping) rather than using loo roll. After reading that I've never complained about loo roll usage since.

When i was staying at my girlfriends last week there was no toilet roll and i had to use her '50 shades of grey' which was just lying there.

Now i'm in trouble 'cos her Kindle stinks.

    Really made me lol. :rotfl:
  • Maybe he's a bit skint and he's filling his pockets with your loo roll? I'd check his pockets before he leaves from now on!

That's the stuff I was thinking about! I remember this from school - right slippy stuff if you didn't scrunch it.
