It's 31p per roll at Lidl's. Get nice but cheap loo roll when he's there if it bothers you that much.

    At least he's clean :)

Alternatively you could change to some horrible rough stuff - that way he'll use as little as possible!

    That stuff like tracing paper?

That'll soon put a stop to over usage:rotfl:

I've never heard it called that before.

Must be a regional term, there is another when the loo roll runs out "shaking the lettuce" :o

OP get yourself down to Costco, they nearly always have loo roll on offer, I get the huge packs so the unit cost is cheaper, and tbh there are other more important things to worry about, or if you dont have a costco close, nick em from work. :D

I feel your pain, OP. I have the same issue with my OH, just as I did with the one before him. I've tried to explain the wipe, fold, wipe again technique but he is just not interested.

I've also tried squashing the roll so it doesn't come off as easily.

It may sound petty but it's annoying when you are the one paying for everything and they just use it with gay abandon.

You've tried to teach your OH how to wipe his own arse? Seriously?? :D

its toilet paper - switch to a cheaper brand if you're bothered about how much he's using - nothing wrong with plain white toilet roll. I don't ever have cusioned toilet roll in our house because the others in my household use so much of it that it clogs the toilet!

My charming OH doesn't use enough of the stuff. He leaves bigger skid marks than Michael Schumacher.

I wouldn't be very MSE if her drains clog up and OP has to call someone out to unblock them. Urgh!

Saying that you've mentioned the issue with the tissue, lets hope he can cut down a little. A whole roll in 36 hours is excessive.

    Happy moneysaving all.
