Thanks for this didn't know they did summer fruits for £1, was paying 1.79 in asda and then switched to aldi 1.49 but £1 sounds great.

Surely you can only know if price is good or not if you also know the quantity ?

Is the fruit and veg at FF good quality? And do you reckon it works out at better value than Allidi?

It's a bit out of my way but I am wondering whether it's worth making the effort to go.

i have started buying fruit from ff and the only prob i have encountered is the fact sometimes they have it but quite often they dont....i have had massive bags of pears and seperate apples for a quid...also oranges they do bananas but havent tried them....i buy frozen veg 3 for 2 toothpaste and washing powder/comfort...they sometimes do a good line in yogurts but again sometimes there isnt any

I'd agree with that and as I'm in the habit of going to Aldi first and then to nearby centre (where Farmfoods, Sainsbury's, Iceland are) afterwards. I've often seen e.g. larger, better looking cauliflowers in FF after I've bought mine in Aldi. The trouble is that if I risk it the other way round I'll end up with none or paying through the nose in Sainsbury's. Same is true of loin chops and beef cubes.

Always buy the Nicky toilet rolls

Me too. They don't seem to be as long as other brands, though.

    Thank you, tessie bear.

I buy the Nikki loo rolls when I go there. Tend to stock up on them to use a money off coupon. Don't go then for months till I need more. We don't eat a lot of frozen stuff except veg.
