I am in again this week - thanks Natty for the lists, and Dusty for last week :)

Coping vibes to Pigpen - I hope the ceiling gets fixed soon & doesn't cost too much.

I have been busy, but awol :o DH has been decorating the hall/landing around the kids. The walls are all done downstairs - need some kid-free time to do the woodwork. We have cleared a huge hotspot. A corner of the hallway had a coat stand, shoe rack & big bag for the children to put their coats/bags. It needed a big clearout! I have binned a coat, stored away spare clothes in the summerhouse (in case of 'accidents'), binned a book bag belonging to a boy that I haven't had for 18 months  , stored spare shopping/PE bags in the understairs cupboard, and cleared out the big bag so the children can actually fit their stuff in it!! They also have space to put their shoes, so we won't trip over them in the hall. The coat stand is in the summerhouse (awaiting rehoming) and our coats are going to hang up under the stairs. It is so easy to walk past now :D

My scabby cat has been taken to the PDSA last week & is on steroids & AB's. She still has her vet collar on & is looking sorry for herself, but is looking better.
My step dad is still in hospital. It was definitely a stroke. Not sure when he is coming home. On the plus side - he is being looked after and my mum is getting a break. She is going to ask for more help when he gets home.

I have looked at the list. I can't run my DW on a clean cycle :( I tried last week, but the DW is not very well :( I will have to get someone in to look at it, as washing up doesn't work in this house!! There are 4 of us, plus 7 extras. And the hot water is playing up, so takes ages to get hot

Ok. I need to take Miss T to nursery, then get the dinner on. roast chicken tonight, as my mum took us out for lunch yesterday so we didn't have it then :T

Hugs, sticks and spoons for those that need them :)

    Hi all.

I'm attempting "in" again this week; I need to get ahead, as Mr LW is on Annual Leave for the day on Wednesday (for Ostara) so no chance to Fly that day.

Lovely to see Toots posting - sorry I missed her.:o

    Piggers Oh! My!! Gawd!!!

Could some of you lovely folks deliver a few boots up the bum please:o - I am so lacking in motivation, and I really don't know why.

(((HUGS))), GWS wishes, healing vibes etc as required are in a pile on the table - help yourselves.;)

Lamewolf: Prepare a certain part of your anatomy for HoneyBear's Boot.

    Boot.

    Please consider yourself booted.

I lack finesse, I grant you, but the boot is effective with OH, so hopefully it'll work for you.
    Better is good enough.

    Boot from me too :D

Paid stuff ticking along nicely. Am going to pop up to town shortly on a delayed lunch break, to buy a birthday pressie before schools close and parking spaces vanish!

Have done a wash and hung to dry but nowhere to dry another yet so it will have to wait.

Trying to think if I need anything else from town...

  • Skint Breeder running in at the last minute reporting for duty :j Thanks to Natty and Dusty for the lists to keep the Skint Ritz from descend into the Skint Pitz again.

I am pleased to say I eventually managed to de-clutter Rob Lowe from the iplayer and both episodes of Revenge ready for the new episode tonight (hopefully). Admittedly Rob Lowe was very easy on the eye despite the stop start nature of my viewing due to Daisy duty. :D Mount Washmore was attacked over the weekend and is now Mount Foldmore and I am procrastinating til DD3 comes in from school for a helping hand on that one.

Some painting took place in the Skint Dining Room over the weekend, but ran out of paint for the feature wall - it only managed one coat, but it is a dark chocolate colour so it HAS to have a second if not a third coat to get a good solid colour, once that is done I can crack out the gloss in earnest.

Skint Baby is asleep, so going to have some 1 on 1 time with DS before DD3 gets in, then I will give some more attention to the list.

Rain set in here so washing is now draped around indoors. I have:

    Mopped the floors
    DS1 hoovered the LR
DS1 and I did an hour in the garden, pruned grape vine, cleared up all the stones, rubble from the builder ready for the dump, filled in a bit of dead grass from bits from the veg patch
    Change DD on council tax

Going to quickly dust the LR then bake a cake and make gingerbread men. I may also sort the cupboard in the family room.
