Glad to see it's the kitchen on the list for tomorrow.
Does anyone have a glass-top table? Mine was from Arg*s I think. Dirt gets under every edge and I'm fed up poncing around trying to clean under the bits the dirt gets trapped under. I think the entire top may come off so I can clean it properly, but I'm frightened to try  anyone have a similar table and have any tips?? Thanks xx
Flywise I've done loads of washing, drying, mopping up -some fool dropped a bottle of olive oil on the kitchen floor- and cooking inc rhubarb crumble... yummy...
Marched to waitr8se when the rain stopped to get a few essentials - some malteser chocolate bunnies fell into my basket
Agreed a date with a lovely gent for Friday
Love hugs spoons sticks and anything else that helps to all the lovely flyladies xxxx*If you have nothing nice to say... say nothing*"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that." Martin Luther King Jr0 -
Thanks to Natty for the new thread, and to Dusty for last week's.
Somebody's DS had a bath without being told to - can't remember who it was, but I rejoiced heartily with you at the time :j
Welcome to newbies and returners.
I'm in again this week, basically maintaining a good standard of tidiness and cleanliness (but there are only 2 of us, and no pets, so it's relatively easy to achieve) whilst continuing to declutter and fling whatever we don't need. We have done well on eB@y this week. DH is also continuing to sort all his stuff in the garage
My extras for tomorrow:
- post eB@y parcels
- check all rooms for cobwebs (having found some ginormous ones in the living room his evening)
- QHI should be enough to empty the basket
- get DH to sort through and declutter most of his beer festival glasses
Hope all the poorlies - including furry and feathered friends - are feeling better. Lots of (((hugs))) and spoons to those of you with horse-piddle visits, difficult phonecalls, unhelpful family members, babies that keep you up all night, etc.
:coffee: will be served at regular intervals throughout the week. I might even make a cake tomorrow0 -

Ugh. Snow. I wasn't ready for that one. DD woke me with her snoring lol (has a cold) so had a peep out and the cars and roofs are covered. There's me thinking it was warming up...
Bonnie I have a table like that, the glass does just pop out, should be tempered but still be careful, and I used a little scrubbing brush to clean the frame, and then washed both sides of the glass. Ours is frosted so doesn't show streaks
I now have a heatproof cover for it too, stops the grot getting in between. I did wonder if I could set it with some clear silicone sealant though, not sure if that's a good idea or not :rotfl:
Why am I awake??? Maybe I've finally caught up with my sleep. Or maybe my throat feels thick and gunky
Anyone got any plans for Easter ? :easter_ba: we're going to join the Easter egg trail at a nearby national trust site on Good Friday!Bossymoo

Hi all
My laptop is now behaving properly again (having recovered from DS2 spilling liquid on it) and so I am raring to join in flying again. Have been keeping on top of most of the housework so hopefully not too much to catch up on. had cleared my ironing basket but as we were away for the weekend the washing and ironing have built up a little again so need to get that done as a priority.

thank you natty and dusty for the lists
hope everyone is ok and the weekend was good/kind/productive/relaxing or what ever else you need want from a weekend
hope all are well - hugs, positive vibes, good wishes, and healing vibes where needed
feel like i achieved a lot over the weekend, with actually getting DH to acknowledge there is too much stuff in the attic and agreeing to come up each weekend and clear some with me. i think bite sized weekend sessions are going to be better for him than hiring a skip and getting shot in one fell swoop;)
promised mil another couple of hours this week i think im getting all the ormanents down off the pelmets dusting washing and replacing this time im round.
pets are clean out, ironing pile is completely empty sock bag is under control.
still got hot spots and clutter piles so a fair way to go before i can think an hour a day will keep me on top of everything but im getting there
hope we all have a really good week
