but the original post was asking about sex with strangers, that's why I mention it0 -

Maybe I'm just not promiscuous. I only get intimate with someone I love. Bringing a stranger home and catching a disease off them doesn't sound like fun to me, but that probably makes me boring and old-fashioned
I wouldn't bring a stranger home either but you can have fantastic, amazing sex with your partner. It doesn't have to be a strangerThere is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -

Yep, I read the OP too quickly!
I've never had amazing sex on a one night stand, but I haven't waited to fall in love with someone before sleeping with them since my very first partner.
You definitely don't need to love someone or be 'emotionally involved' to have great sex.0 -
Cheers..the only person that doesnt think Im a freak!:rotfl:
Yeah, maybe emotion doesnt always have to come into it....but I have never saw the point if it doesnt! Sex means nothing to me if Im not emotionally involved with someone...thats what makes it for me! The whole package!
..far less potential for trouble if you ask me.0 -
TMI warning:
The best sex I ever had was with a friend who I do not love but do care a lot about. Ive also had incredibly bad sex with someone i loved so much but didn't really connect with in that way. I've never had a good one night stand... Not that I've had many but enough to know that they are really really really not worth it.Man plans and God laughs...Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry. But by demonstrating that all people cry, laugh, eat, worry and die, it introduces the idea that if we try to understand each other, we may even become friends.0 -

Aah, ok.
I think then, it's because not everyone invests emotion into sex and has sex purely for that sake, without any strings attached.
Some people can do that, others can't. Some people need the emotional attachment. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -

You've obviously never had amazing sex if you think Ann Summers can recreate it (stranger or not) for the price of £59.99

This really made me laugh!0 -

I think this is true. People all have different temperaments, if that's the right word. There isn't a right or a wrong way, it's what works for that person.0 -
It can also be blimming disappointing, time after time, with the person you're in a relationship with.
If the person you're with makes no effort to push your buttons it really isn't worth the effort!
And if you've already experienced the amazing sort, then it can be a big let down.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
