I like the Scots

I have two lithuanian friends and they're addicted to Iron Bru, it always amuses me watching them with it.
I watched a tv program about marketing and they said Coco Cola are the main soft drink or own the leading soft drink in every single country in the world except Scotland. The Scottish number one drink being Iron Bru and they won't sell to Coco Cola and it really really annoys Coke.
How great it would have been if South of the border we had put two fingers up to coke and had Top Deck Shandy as our number one national drink
always makes me laugh at m local Asda
There is the water aisle, fizzy juice aisle and a whole separate Irn Bru aisle
I dont drink fizzy juice so its lost on me0 -

Jock that's not a fan of irn bru here either, but Curry's special kola.... hmmm. Remember when I was expecting the DD, guess what my craving was. Pity I lived in Brighton at the time. My dear old mum n dad brought me down several cases of it to see me through my pregnancy. I dared anyone to have a sip of it :rotfl:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

I once asked for faggots & mushy peas in an Edinburgh chippy and the bloke asked if I was being funny!0 -
I find anyone saying that they like (or dislike) any particular race or culture or certain type of person, a bit weird to be honest. I actually heard someone say the other day that they like blacks. I mean !!!!!!? You just can't say you like one particular group of people; OR that you dislike them. Some Scots are probably complete tools, and some are probably OK, like in every nationality, culture etc...
I don't like OR dislike any particular 'type' of person: I like or dislike people equally, according to how they behave/conduct themselves etc... and what I have in common with them.0 -

Doesn't always rain in Scotland.
I remember when my friend moved up to Faslane to work for a few years. Used to go up for a week every now and again. Weather was always great.
remeber one time the weather was so good that the tarmac on the A82 to Inverary melted and got stuck on everyones tyres !
Beautiful Country, great people and stunning scenery.
Pity they don't want to be part of the UK anymore ! lol0 -

Please don't judge us all by the voice of a few. I think independence is a god awful idea and I happen to think that the SNP and BNP are pretty much one in the same.Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
This time I'm on top of it! We live and learn :coffee:0 -

There are some holes in the independence plan not considered much. Suppose Scotland went independent its been stated it would be planning to remain in the European union. Then if England got a referendum and voted to leave Europe and close the doors. The floods of European economic migrants would head for Scotland instead. Benefits in Scotland are even more generous and migrants are looking for English speaking countries as its the most common language.0
