Just had a resignation on my team. Need to act fast, although there may be some cover in the offing, which will mean more earnings for me potentially. Then if I can get another body in the post who injects more umph, that'll pay in the long run too, through my bonus.

good luck finding your replacement0

Good luck Thistle
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks taxi & GG.
It had to happen really, I've been expecting it. However, they're now refusing to work their 4 weeks contractual notice which, unless I can persuade them / demand it if them, gives me no time to get replacement.
Anyway, in other news, £1.63 Tilly Tidied today.
Meetings all day today, but I'm with my manager so she'll be able to help with my resignation dilemma, although she's part of it really as it's her that wants the notice it be worked. I'm guessing its because its quarter end and she's angling for her bonus, and having too greater %age of relief cover on the District will scupper this - can't have a go at her for that though can I?:rotfl::rotfl:
I just want rid if I'm honest even though it'll cause me short term issues, as they could do more harm than good in those 4 weeks.
Decisions decisions!!

Morning Thistle, always tricky but in my experience you are better off not forcing them to work all their notice if their attitudes are like that as its more damaging to the reputation.
Hope things work out quickly

Fantastic!
It being the 25th (in 41 minutes time albeit,) I've emptied my £2 tin and Penelope Pig (pocket change collector).....

So a further £88.85 to add to the CCOP A/c along with the £60 earned on Tuesday.
Will update sig when I've transferred it.

Every right to be chuffed

Have to admit I agree with Tilly I think making them stay could be dangerous for future business etc
Hope you get it sorted0
