They sure are!!
Well the covering for a colleague went well last evening and bagged me £60 which ill pay over to my CC OP a/c today. It'll mean I'm £210 short for the month end, but there's another £60 for cover next week, and a whacking £120 for cover on Monday 29th. I've got £16 in my £2 tin which makes £196 so if Penelope (pocket change collector) Pig comes up trumps with £14 or more, I'll have done it!!
That will mean I have no CC debt left that's interest bearing and will have made inroads into the 0% balance.
Question:
As the CC debt is at 0% until February 2014, I'm thinking of leaving the OPs in my CC OP a/c as this bears interest albeit small (1%).
Would you do this or just pay it off to see the balance come down?:D

If you think you won't touch it leave it and let it grow ... Can u maybe move it to a higher interest rate account ?0

Hi Thistle, logically it would be sensible to save and get a bit of interest and as El says, you may be able to move to a higher interest rate. How about a 123 a/c though as you'd get more interest straight away?
As the interest rates are so low though, I would probably clear the card ASAP, as I'd want to be free of debt to focus on the mortgage. Depends what makes sense to you with the figures
Well done on your covering payments - that's fab

Signature amended to reflect the £60 earned on Tuesday. Now £210 short of OP goal, but last night was a good night for £2 coins!! They'll be going into the pot!!
Think I'll be ok this month. It'll mean I've managed to pay for the entire Rome trip in one calandar month and make a £350 OP too. Pleased with that!!!
Will count the £2 pot and Penelope Pig on 25th so there'll be time to bank the savings and see them on statements before 30th April.
