Richie....you really are an argumentative twit! Maybe you should get away from your keyboard and get a life. This is an advice forum but it seems you just want to pick fights with everyone.
It is ridiculous to suggest I "stalked" someone on a public forum. And it is even more ridiculous to suggest that I've come along again under another name.
The advice I have given is correct.....and is pretty much the same advice that you have given.....except the fact that you misled people by suggesting that once you have applied to the DVLA for your free tax disc that the DVLA will automatically send a tax disc every year. That is incorrect.......the DVLA do not automatically send out free tax discs......the VED holder will still have to apply for the tax disc every 12 months (online...at the Post Office.....or over the telephone).
It would be very helpful if you could actually read the posts which other people make before you jump to the defence and make yourself look ridiculous. I am not going to involve myself in your immature tit for tat argument anymore.....it is abundantly clear you have nothing else to do with your time but attack people because they point out your innacuracies.0 -
This forum seems to be inhabited by people of playground age , that goes for the person who is wrong and the person who is determined to prove them wrong, anybody care to present some facts to back up their point rather than opinions ?0

Tax reminder still comes through post as normal. Go to website, insert number on form, along with other relevant bits. Tax disc comes through the post a few days later. Simples.
Same form used until you change your vehicle afaik. There's only space for one vehicle on the new form. Unlike the old one that had spaces for when you had changed your vehicle.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
DLA404 Click for Page 01 of 02 & Page 02 of 02
The old DLA404 / WPA0442 and MHS330 paper certificates form had a time-limited expiry date and a limited number of physical spaces available to write in any new change of car. The process for the old DLA404 was when the date [starts from-ends on] it was due to end, or when you had filled the 4 spaces available whichever came first, you had to apply to the Disability Benefits Unit [DBA] on on 0845 712 3456 for a new DLA404, or send by post to Section 5. Disability Benefits Centre. PO Box 36. Cardiff. CF91 5AT. The information of the DLA404 would contain :
Valid from: 12th May 20XX , as stated
Valid to: 14thFeb 20XX , as stated
Serial No: 9XX9XX9 < this is your VED entitlement number
Ref No: AXXXXXXXX < This would be your national insurance number
In addition you must make sure you tick the bottom box I need a new one [ FULL ] , OR ; Make sure you tick the bottom box I need a new one [ EXPIRED ]
Certificate of Entitlement to DLA Page 01 of 01
This replacement for the DLA404 came into being in late 2011, unlike the old DLA404 it is not time limited, is a single A4 sized sheet of paper, it does it not [see - mazza111 in #50] have any spaces for you to enter vehicle registration numbers anywhere on the document. The document is headed room - Unit 4. Warbreck House. Warbreck Hill. Blackpool. The information of the Certificate of Entitlement to claim a free vehicle tax disk state that you are in receipt of from would contain :
Valid from: 12th May 20XX , as stated
Valid to: , as stated / or / an indefinite period
Serial No: 9XX9XX9 < this is your VED entitlement number
Ref No: AXXXXXXXX < This would be your national insurance number
The evidence of both the DLA404 & the new replacement for it called The Certificate of Entitlement to claim a free vehicle tax disk, are reproduced o the clicky's for you.
NOTE01 : There may or may not be different forms out there that do allow single vehicle entry's per mazza111's post, I've never seen one.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. I've dug the certificate of entitlement out from my paperwork just to check. Page 3 is where you would fill out your details of nominated driver and car details. Only room for one car, one driver. Although it does state on it This certificate of entitlement can only be used once to get a free vehicle tax disc BUT. When everything is in place, I can just enter the info from it to get the new tax disc.
On page 2 it states on the declaration: I understand that I can only get exemption for one vehicle at a time.
The image Richie has put up is the old form that I remember? Where you could change your vehicle. Seems if you change your vehicle with the newer form you will need a new form. Especially when changing class of vehicle.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -

HiYa mazza111,
I did'nt contradict you my friend, I said "There may or may not be different forms out there that do allow single vehicle entry's per mazza111's post, I've never seen one.", and indeed used the thanks button for your input if you look again.
You may also want to read my post again, I put up both the old and the new form my friend, you may have missed it when reading my post, to save you looking here it is for you - again.Disclaimer : Everything I write on this forum is my opinion. No dear, didn't think you were
Just thought I'd show in writing where it said for one vehicle onlyand hopefully showed where some of the confusion may lie in getting the form renewed every year if that makes sense
