Good evening everyone,
Very quiet on here today - noticed Penny Pincher hasnt posted (although has put up the weeks menu planner) so i hope she is ok!!!!
Blood test went ok, i wont get my results until Tuesday when i see my consultant at the hospital - i think they will be good (well, good for me) as i banged my arm yesterday and it hasnt bruised, but my levels do go up near my monthlies, so im at the hospital at the right time. Last week i found loads of new bruises, so mightve been a different story then - but we will see next week!!!!
Have been busy with the LOs today, and have managed to get some cleaning and cooking done. Made pizza for dinner tonight (it was lovely) and i also made some tuna fishcakes, i had some for lunch, and the rest are in the freezer for another time. I did remember to take the HM beefburgers out of the freezer, which will be for dinner tomorrow - so i must remember to make the bread rolls for them to go in!!!
Right, off to check out the comp board while i watch American Idol - hope everyone has a lovely evening,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Evening all, sorry been chaos here lately, actually still is, have been reading some but haven't had chance to post much. I do hope everyone is well.
Today I had my faith in some people at least restored. DP misplaced his mobile phone, his friend tried ringing it, rang several times then cut off. Pressumed someones pocketed it as this has happened before, several times. Anyway he went to call the phone company to get it all cancelled and there was a message on the anwsering machine from the guy at the garage where we'd been saying he'd found a phone and the number was saved as home, to contact them and collect it it'd been put in the safe. Well I was gobsmacked!! First phone out of 6 he's lost ever had returned. There are some nice people out there.
Anyway, this weeks been a mix of assignment catch up, trying to stay being OS as much as possible, meetings about DS1unfortunately things are not going well at school and having to look at a SEN specific school next week. Something I hoped wouldn't be needed but it's getting to the stage like today he'd ran off again, noone noticed until it was too late as in 15 minutes later when I got him back there someone said 'I wondered where he'd gone', thankfully I haddn't gone home just yet and was with a friend near the school, there just isn't enough staff to keep an eye on him. School's only response to issues lately was 'sign this form so we can use restraining handling techiniques on your son' instead of saying 'we need to look into why these things are happening'. Anyway off to meet the SEN schools headteacher and discuss things with her on Tuesday, he's such a bright boy as his test scores show (achieving much much higher than is expected at his age by about 3 years +) but he's just not happy.
OS front, my breads started to go 'wrong' especially the wholemeal, use by is June 07 so bought new to see if it's that. Been raining here but staggering wash loads better so can use airers means drier hasn't been used. One day I might be more organised...........
