OS Friday 11th May 2007

Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 10/05/2007. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well

Morning Everyone

Seems I'm the first this morning unless I cross with someone, as I have in the past. My own fault this morning, forgot my tablets last night, and used my knee a little too much yesterday, not the correct combination. Not complaining though as overall much better than it has been.

Didn't get here yesterday life is crazy at the moment, good but crazy. Did manage a bit of a read and ((((((((hugs))))))))))) to many/all who want one.

Hope to get back on later, but dont know if I will, off to work shortly as early start means I can come out early (hopefully anyway!)

Just going to get my 'flakes, and maybe put something in the SC have something in the fridge defrosting, hopefully at least one will be defrosted.

Take care

Morning Donny-Gal, morning all to follow

Whoopee, it's Friday! Boy am I glad to see the end of the week - it's been a horrible one with a lack of sleep (ahem, look at the time!) and I cannot wait to get a bit of "down" time to recharge my batteries.

Sorry, I haven't read yesterday's thread, was too tired! big apologies if I have missed anything major.

There's nothing doing at all in SnowyOwlLand, just the usual get up, go to w*r*, go home routine.

I'll love you and leave you - have a fantastic Friday.

    Good morning everyone!

Hurrah, it's raining here, and has been for some time. The garden will certainly be happier with that, but it means we won't be able to get out and put up our new fence.

DH is on his way back from Texas, and as long as the connection in Amsterdam works (there's not much time) he'll be home around the same time as the Small Penguins get back from school. We're out for a meal tonight, then off to some friends tomorrow.

I'm having a quick tidy round, and some baking this morning, and some time in the polytunnel and garden (if it stops raining).

Have a great day, Penny. x

    Hi everyone

Wet and miserable here (the weather, not me) :D

Going to view a house today, want to buy to renovate, but think it might be too big a job - no bathroom, just a loo. How has anyone managed to live without a bath

Shopping first thing and as I complained about some missing sauce in an Asda pancakes kit, I have a £10 voucher to spend - must NOT spend it in the book section :rotfl:

Hope everyone has a good day x

    Good morning everyone,

((HUGS)) to anyone who wants/needs one xxx

Well, a busy day today, but as its Friday, i dont mind too much.
Have 2 LOs, and an older one today (my friends son who had his appendix out last week, she has to pop back into work so im having him for today) but should be ok.
Have to go to the doctors first thing for a blood test - should be going on Monday, but i have the new one starting, and dont know how he would be so im going in today, they wont mind at the hospital, as long as they have a recent result for Tuesday.
Apart from that, no major plans - its not raining at the mo, so i think im going to risk washing DSs bedding - i like to get them washed, dried and back on the beds, but i do have others if i cant get it dried.

Ok, thats about it, hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning everyone. Hope everyone is well and ready for the weekend. I have had a busy week and am feeling really quite satisfied, wondering what to attack next :D Am going to go to the library probably today and other bits and bobs. OH is away all weekend from lunchtime today, am going to have lunch with a friend on Saturday and out for the night with another friend on Saturday night. Nothing much else to report here and not much OS today, maybe just some ironing that I've been meaning to do all week :o

Hope everyone has a great Friday, hugs to anyone who needs one x

    Morning All

Yes its wet and horrible here also, forcast is the same for the weekend and Ive loads of washing to do. May have to nip out later to purchase an airer, we have had new rads fitted and they are so close to the walls you can fit any clothes on. Mind you builder is in today and tomorrow so probably wont bother until he has gone.

Didnt get on yesterday as the time went nowhere. Back is hurting today so have taken some nurofen. Got to do ironing today which is no good for my back but it has to be done.

Hope you are well and happy. Best go and get ds up now and put another coffee on. Also need to get some steak out of the freezer as oh and myself are having beef stogonoff tonight, and the kids are having a kids meal from the chippy as ds has got a friend round.

DLB re weather pages I use BBC.co.uk and google.

    Have a great day all.

Havent got any plans for the weekend either so will be trying to get the house sorted :o am going to have a look at that flylady thread that I keep avoiding
