Just had the same experience - 3 screens gone in two years. Apparently a leaked internal memo from amazon claimed the screens only had a full life of 4 years (mind you that would have been an improvement). Changed over to Kindle app on a tablet see if that has better longevity.0 -
undoubtedly the breadmaker is my biggest waste of money , its way more expensive to make bread this way.:(0

A disc camera - the quality of the photos was rubbish (very grainy).
Sony mini disc - great idea at the time but was made obsolete by MP3 players.0 -

a 3 million candle power touch, wow how bright is that, 5 mins later !!!!!! no more power, oh well will just pop it on charge for the next 2 hours...... total waste of time, effort and money just got a normal touch and some rechargeable batteries which lasts hours and cost half the price
a JML hands free tin opener, fantastic for showing of for about 3 months then just wouldnt open anything more £15 down the drain, go get normal £5 one and still working fine years laterDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
Worst...ice cream maker....you have to put the bowl in the freezer and i never have that much spare space in ours.
Close runner up
cheepo garden shredder ,it couldn't handle the thinnest twigs (we got it from freecycle) ,we gave it away and bought a bosch which was easily up to the job.0 -
Sony mini disc - great idea at the time but was made obsolete by MP3 players.
I also still have my Sony Mini Disc player that I got just when MP3 players were taking off. Wrong choice, hardly ever used, and I still have it. Can't bring myself to get rid of it knowing how much it cost!0 -
...to many of you who have posted. I have a dusty bread machine (expensive ingredients are the only ones that seem to give a good loaf), a well-stored food processor (not enough worktop space to keep it handy), unused foot spa (way too noisy when vibrations travel along the floorboards!). The list is endless. Had a good laugh reading your posts, so thanks guys.:rotfl:0

Cat water fountain - The pump is so noisy the cat is wary of it, so I turned the pump off and then all he did was rub his head on it.
Ultrasonic cleaner - does nothing
Home IPL hair removal thing - Does nothing except warm up the hairs.0
