Biggest waste of money was a pop cake maker I bought recently, a candy floss machine which at the time I couldn't, live without. I won't add my chocolate fountain as it always brings in the wows at the kids birthday parties, but if I had known that just adding a bit of corn or sunflower oil to a bowl of broken Choc and microwaving it until melted will give you the same affect it would have been more than enough to keep me happy0

Oh had many! but biggest one was YEARS ago
My biggest waste of cash was buying an "Atari Jaguar" games console (with the cd/dvd addon)
Bought it with my first monthly pay cheque in 1994
what a waste... lol ^_^ First and last console I've EVER bought!
Till the PS4 is released then i might get that....Laters

Thought I'd save a fortune making my own bread - what a waste of time and money. Did manage to sell it though.
PS - Tablet buyers - Nexus 7 tablet is probably one of the best gadgets I have bought. Great fun0 -
We had a mini doughnut maker used it once and it went to the charity shop also bluray player purchased 6 months ago and it's been used once.0

The original Black and Decker Dustbuster (remember those?). Actually I didn't buy it as it was a gift from in-laws.
It was almost totally ineffectual and absolutely and utterly pointless.0 -
A window cleaner brush with a telescopic arm, that attaches to a hose.
In theory, you easily and effortlessly brush the windows with clean water, and get sparkly windows in next to no time.
In practice, you have to lug your hose pipe and an unwieldy brush around the outside of the house and still need to stretch up as the telescopic arm isn't long enough. You'll inevitably miss the window corners as you can't see from such a distance whether you've cleaned the whole window, and then the windows will be all streaky, so you'll have to go around afterwards to wipe them with a cloth. Oh, and your arms and body get soaked because the water runs down the telescopic pole, leaving you cold, frustrated and having not saved a moment of time.
They look great in the adverts though....0 -
Biggest waste of money has generally been something my ex bought!
Deep fat fryer, sausage maker in the kitchen. Games and other software that got used once and forgotten. Sports kit... the list goes on. He was always on at me for spending money (on food) yet would go out and spend on whatever toys he fancied. Good riddance to that! Always keep separate bank accounts I say.
Breadmaker is brilliant - use it for nearly all my bread. Likewise slow cooker and food processor.0 -
Aw, I had better join in
Waste of cash =
Had 2 bread makers
sons gaming chair:( never uses it.
liquidiser
meat slicer. It does the job great but a lot of washing up
several chip pansgreat but smells the house out and so unhealthy.
Best buys=
george grill
veg steamer
bosch kettle
steam iron. The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)0 -
I love my breadmaker, and my George Foreman Grill, and my slow cooker, and my vegetable steamer.
I should never have bothered with the rice cooker though, seems to do less than a saucepan!
Someone else here mentioned a facial sauna. Personally I am very pleased I had one (it has now been worn out). I used to suffer terribly with sinus pain. I started using my facial sauna a couple of times a week with a drop of oil of eucalyptus and now I very rarely get any sinus trouble! It is an absolute Godsend! What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0
