global test market - introducing reward scheme

On my email invite the cat food diary said I would be rewarded with 434 points for completing it for 10 days or more (which I did) and I started it 19.03.13 - it does seem a long time to wait for the points. I have sent 5 emails regarding this, at one point (after 2 emails to them and them confirming it was complete and would hit my acct soon) they said it was incomplete and to click on the link again - I did this and got a message to say it was complete so sent them another email to confirm it was completed and they advised the points would be in my acct in 7 working days and to let them know if I hadn't received. As I haven't received them I emailed again this morning and received this response
"We expect that to be in the next week as it is a unique and extensive survey. If your account is not credited till then please send a new note with survey number and we will check again. Thanks for your patience! "
I'm not getting in a tizz
but it was a lengthy survey and I don't like the feeling that I am being fobbed off. If they had told me on my first email that it would take this long rather than sending all these different confusing responses I would have expected the delay :cool:
I know exactly what you mean. It was a long survey and also its a lot of points that they owe us and I am not letting it drop until I get them. I am really getting fed up of emailing them now though as they are still ignoring me. Still not received my cheque too even thought they told me I would receive it by 5th May at the latest

@debB: Point taken!
Sorry if you felt patronised, that certainly wasn't the intention. It is frustrating and you do feel cheated when they don't divvy up on the promised points.
I seem to remember the cat food diary gave 60 points for the minimum five entries but I can't be sure.I checked the original invite and that page says xxx points which is utterly useless for reference!
I've never kept a survey log as GTM always seemed reliable but given the recent fiascos and the considerable points values involved I may well start doing so. :think:0 -
I definitely remember it being 400 odd points as I was surprised how much it was but saying that it was quite a long survey.
They really need to pull their socks up though and get this sorted.0 -
@Silvercloud - no, not patronised at all - it's difficult to convey tone on here isn't it?

The first invite said xx.xx points but the reminder said 434 points, I have it saved just in case. I have never felt the need to keep a record either but did for this one as 434 points works out at approx £12. I have noticed a couple of subsequent surveys haven't been rewarded either so have now started to keep a note. Will see what happens next week, I get a feeling I will be chasing this up for some time! The customer service has been lacking to say the least0 -

Agreed!
I must say I have never had any problems with receiving cheques, but they do take a while as they come from USA - when did you request it?0 -

I requested it 12th of March but what has got me a bit worried about it was that they changed the reward system end of March so I think it has either got mixed up or they have not even sent it.0 -

I'm not keen on phone texting either due to lack of nuance lol
Thanks for the heads up about the reminder e-mail debB,I searched my inbox and found it,don't know how I missed it before.Even though GTM gave me the 40 compensation points I e-mailed them again tonight with the full details. Not holding my breath on this one...0 -
Well I've just checked my history and I requested a cheque on 19.03.13 and received it at the end of April. Sounds like it might have got 'lost'. Definitely keep on at them, good luck!!katrina00uk wrote: »I requested it 12th of March but what has got me a bit worried about it was that they changed the reward system end of March so I think it has either got mixed up or they have not even sent it.0 -
