Good plan - the tills don't get too busy until after 12.0 -

If you go this time you won't be in and out in an hour because it's your first time. However on subsequent visits you can do it within an hour.
The trick is:
1. Go online and work out what you want.
2. See if they have it in your store and find out where it is located.
3. Take down the full location.
4. Go to the store first thing and go directly to that department. (Don't browse, only buy up to 5 items, walk fast, ask staff for directions and take the short cuts if you can.)
The Ikea I visit regularly tends to be empty from 8.30pm-10pm so if I want one largest item I go then.
BTW you aren't the only woman who doesn't like shopping there are a few of us around.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

Yeah I've seen what I want, only buying 3 pieces of furniture is the plan.
We're not really browsers, I don't see the point in wandering round shops just to look if you don't need any thing. the advantage of this is I rarely buy things I regret purchasing and 99% only buy what i need.
nice to hear there are more like me around, in an office full of women and out of my friends i'm the only one and they all think i'm weird!0 -
I have done Bristol Ikea in under an hour several times! Perfectly possible! Although I also got ready for a wedding, including getting a 4yr old changed in 15mins on Sat! lol
