Oh, I forgot to check in as well. Sorry Fred. -1lb for me this week.
Not started on the challenge either as I have a strange swollen toe atm. Not quite sure what is the problem with it, but going to rest it for a few days before I start the stair climbing.0 -

- 2lb loss for me this week please Fred :j
I am going to bow out of the exercise challenge as my toe keeps giving me trouble each time I try to do more. I will stick to swimming for a few weeks while it heals.0 -
Hello,
- 2lb since last Wednesday; that "makes a change" for me. Last week has been a continuation of house sorting out. So much up and downstairs organising which will also lead to some decluttering. Some clothes probably too small are all piled together, to keep or rag? Feeling a little more emotionally settled although yesterday felt like overeating but told myself, "do something better" which I did.
Exercise was the usual outdoor cycling, hardly any indoor biking and bits of gardening. Was out this very early a.m. biking (approx. 6 miles) to collect groceries. Hoping for a long spell of fine weather as plenty of garden jobs still need doing!

Well done on your losses jess444 and dannie! :T
It's a STS for me, and that was a struggle to achieve (I was +3lbs on Monday, compared to last Weds!!). However I missed last week's deadline for checking in, so I need to count last week's loss in this week, so it's -0.6lbs over the past fortnight.0 -
Thanks Svenena,
Well done to you too - your still going in the right direction!0 -
Exactly - there will always be fluctuations and plateaus... if it's all working out over the longer term then that's the main thing! :T
It's so easy to get frustrated but at the end of the day nothing else in the world is on a constant linear path, it makes sense that weight loss will always have its own stops and starts.
I had an amazing experience on holiday lately - I did several hours of walking every day, my weight stayed the same but I lost about two inches on my waist! It finally dawned on me that gaining muscle really does make a difference. I've started measuring my waist, hips etc now
So it's STS this week for me, with 8 hours of brisk walking.
Have been away seeing family this week so still haven't managed to get back on track with the aerobics, planning to set things right tomorrow :ja penny picker upper. MFW approx 78% to go | FIRE 3 years worth (30% savings rate: now aiming for 40%!) | Normality is a paved road; it's comfortable to walk, but no flowers grow on it | Whatever you're meant to do, do it now. The conditions are always impossible | The only thing you absolutely have to know, is the location of the library0 -
Here's this weeks chart:
