Hi fredsnail,
Thanks for the message and charts.0 -
Hi Fred,
Is it OK if I join again? After about a year of messing about and getting nowhere with the weight loss I feel I am back on track.
Have lost about 6lb in the last month and now need a bit of motivation to get back to the gym. I am doing a 10K walk tomorrow, so have been doing plenty of walking in preparation.
I noticed a 3 hours a week challenge. Could you sign me up for that for the remainder of June? I will PM you my starting weight.
Hope all is well with everyone, will have a catch up on the thread tomorrow.0 -
Hi Jess,
Welcome back - everyone is welcome
Good luck in the 10k walk - well done you.
I'll certainly add you to the challenge0 -
Hello! Can I come and play again too too? :j
Life came along and put me on a plateau but I'm looking forward to cracking on again! Fred, can you pop me down for the challenge too? (Thank you!)
I've been doing well with foodstuffs and walking but need to up my game with aerobic shenanigans. :j :j :ja penny picker upper. Welcome back Pearla*Merle - I've added you to the challenge - well done on being good with the food and walking0

My fitbit says I've done 2 x 10,000 steps this week which I believe is the equivalent of 8 miles, could this be added to the exercise challenge too? These steps were acquired by traipsing round shopping centres dress shopping with my daughter for her graduation dressWeight loss 0/2st

Did my 10K walk in 2 hours 10 mins, so will add this to the challenge.
How do you find the Fitbit Dunham-mim?0 -
I've got an old one Jess which I love - it's a fitbit ultra and I'm resisting upgrading because I don't want a wrist one - the one I have clips onto my bra.
It's good at counting steps and floors - however if you do aerobics or weights or something like that you need to put in a manual adjustment.0 -
Can you convert the steps into miles / calories? My friend has a jawbone which she loves, and I believe there are some good offers on Amazon for these at the minute. Just not sure what the difference between this and the Fitbit is really or how useful it would really be?
1 hour 15 min walk to add to the challenge please Fred.0 -
The fitbit does that (mine does anyway - it tracks flights of stairs, miles, steps and calories).0
