I fasted off my ice cream yesterday (all 960 calories! I didn't even check the day after the binge) and think I've been lucky with a random fluctuation this morning. -2.6lbs.

Fred, as per my post yesterday, I was +0.4lbs last week, so can you please account for that in my total (which is now 31.2lbs). Thanks!

Hope everyone who is currently struggling rediscovers their enthusiasm/motivation/whatever is lacking at the moment. I think (hope!) that tub of ice cream was actually just what I needed to kick me out of the bad habits which had started to creep back in.

fredsnail - A first for me; decided not to weigh myself this morning as considered it may be counter productive. Another similar repeat of the week before so need to not be affected by the scales recording; maybe wanting to eat even more? Hope this is okay and hope to send results the final Wednesday. Is that 2/7/14?

That's fine Dannie, the final week for this month is next Wednesday which will be the 25th.

Congrats to our SoTW Mazza :j:j:T:T

Well done to our losers and STSers this week and commiserations to our gainers don't compare your progress with that of others. This week is just a small part of your journey - and if you keep trying you will get there eventually.

jackieb and Svenena - Thanks for your messages that I can relate to/trying to improve upon.

fredsnail - Okay, thanks, this Wednesday then.
  • 13.67mi this week for the Rio challenge, 46.53mi total.

Weigh in tomorrow morning. Not overly confident.

(What the hell has happened to the board layout? Thank fook it's "normal" when I log in, bloody pants it is *grumble grumble*...)
  • Another STS. Fending for myself hasn't worked out very well!

I'm now only 1lb below my average target line and I'm feeling the pressure of that now. I'd hate to slip into a red mark week.

(Yep, I lose weight for all the wrong reasons!) :o
