Past use of AE's & posting style leads to me to believe I am correct but until MSE admin can find a way to ID the person we'll just have to just laugh at the foolishness of it all as we do.

Some IP's are fairly static and trolls can be traced that way eg Sky IPs; but some IP's change all the time eg BT and then if someone is using a dongle there's little or no way of nailing down who the troll is. Also, if they know what they are doing then sadly they can mask their IP totally.

Did anyone see the programme with Richard Bacon where he tried to track down his troll? He met up with a family where a troll had targeted their sons fb memorial page, some people are just sick.

I've been globbed at by a troll before - not on here though but on Facebook! If any troll pm's me on here, I will set renegadia on them! I bet he would handle one well!

Wasn't there also some sports person, boxer or something? who drove 80 odd miles to confront his Twitter troll last week?

Jesus. I didn't realise we had trolls here. I thought the illiterate morons of the Internet world were all on YouTube. Very sorry to read about this.
