Yeah with a lot of providers you can get a new IP address by simply resetting your router.

I had quite a few within minutes of each other last month, all different names, all new users, all messages identical, so obviously from same person. I didn't report but have stopped posting as much, as I have enough going on.
Will say whoever the aliases belonged to they are a regular forum comp board user, though they may not be a regular contributer xx

I wish MSE would find some way of dealing with these little truckers, so that they can't keep coming back under a new name. What do people think about suggesting email verification for new members? That way, at least they would have to also find a new email address for each new persona?

this has happened many a time to me as well, it's obviously the same person who targets me & others in the inn on a regular basis, they obviously read through our profiles & postings as some of the trolls posts/pm's refer to a lot of things we've talked/joked/discussed in threads & i agree with you becky it's got to be regular forum user
