Paid stuff again here, although I have feb wm and hung them to dry. Indoors, as its sub-zero here today...

DS did seem brighter this morning, but have reminded him he can only go swimming tonight if he plays nicely, and have asked his lady to call me if there are any more altercations. She wondered if he was upset as he had been talking about his dad too, as he was trying to draw a picture of his family and got muddled. Aargh kids. Why can't they just say whats wrong???

Anyway, have a couple of hhc scheduled in for later on, so will catch up then.

Have a good day <tries to stay awake>

washloads X 2 done, our bed is now stripped and the sheet is in the machine. I wish DH would wear PJ tops - the sheet is so much dirtier where he lies.......

A bag of As*a casserole veg, whoopsied (of course) has been transformed into lentil, veg and tomato soup - I'm looking forward to it when I get home from work today!

I am nearly at the bottom of the ironing pile - I would be ironing faster if episide 2 of Broadchurch would play on the ITV Player!

  • Good morning :D

I have an unexpected day off! :j The primary school I pick up from is closed, but the aprents are all keeping the kids at home with them :) It has finally stopped snowing here now, and the sun is coming out. My kids have gone to school - much to their annoyance!

SD has been moved to the stroke ward, and they know he needs help with feeding. Visiting times are 3pm to 8pm, so my mum can take it easy in the mornings and chill out/watch rubbish tv and generally chill :) I know he is not happy in there, but at least she gets a break :o

DH is painting the hallway (as there are no children here :)). I have just had a bath & am going to give the bathroom a scrub later - I decided that before i saw the list, so I may actually be able to cross something off :j I will also need to wrap up & take the dog out (I will wait for my hair to dry first though!).

First, I am going to catch up on some unsuitable TV programmes for the under-fives while doing some of my accounts :D (Ripper Street) Anyone want to join me for HHSomething?

Bossy hope DS settles down, sometimes if they behave out of character it is due to something else. It's lovely that you have such a good relationship that you can talk about things that are tricky. Give him time ((hugs)).

Goodintentions hope you enjoyed your catch up on non-under 5 friendly TV! Where would we be without catch up?

I've had a pretty productive morning as walked Pip straight from school and ended up being out a lot longer than planned just because it was so nice outside. Then got back and let out/cleaned out the chooks who are happy as long as they've got their layers pellets and nice clean bed to snuggle into. I've done 2 of my 3 typing jobs too and booked DD in for an 'own a pony' day for the school holidays.

Off to do lunch now cos my little hands are cold from all the typing!

Hmmm. Slightly diminished list. I can't be bothered to drive to Chelmsford now. I need to hoover upstairs but DD1 is asleep (she has a night shift tonight). I also need to tackle the LR. I'm looking after a NN's 2 boys on Tuesdays after school now. I don't want them upstairs trashing the little ones shared bedroom so I must get the LR respectable.

3rd Load of washing going round.
2nd load of TD has been folded.
I have treated the upstairs slow draining plugholes with caustic soda.
    Cleaned all upstairs mirrors
Ordered book from Ama2on for the author who is visiting our library as part of the Essex Book Festival. I remembered to use Easyfundraising so have added a few pennies to the pot for DS2's school trip in 2014.
Cleared out the breakfast cereal cupboard and got rid of all the crumbly bits in the bottom of the boxes. Loads of space now :D
  • oh dear, oh dear...I am getting later and later to the party.

Thanks to Dusty and Natty for the lists. thanks to everyone for gw vibes for arm, slowly healing now on 4 day gaps to re-dress and its starting get really itchy, so that's a good sign.

Going to catch up with Fred after getting DS then see what I can cross off list...be back soon

    Afternoon all :)

Flying off list this week. I've got an infection in my finger on my left hand so I'm on day 2 of soaking it in hot water and trying to do stuff one handed :( Got a weeks worth of antibiotics this morning and considering their strength and what they apparently clear up I should be the healthiest I've been in years

I spent yesterday investigating alternatives to my current job, and I'm going to spend this afternoon doing the same. ;) Lots of long documents to read about income sources, benefit entitlements etc as the last thing I want is to end up financially worse off than I am ATM.

Flying wise, I've done laundry and tided up. DD can help do some jobs when she gets in ;) Off to make lunch as I'm able to eat soon :)
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
  • Hi again.

Back in from work now and have 5 hours to be productive before I'm out again, so not going to waste a minute of it (yeah, right!).

Would anyone like to join me for HH something at 2pm? I may even do 2 HH's if my sore hip can cope with it.

Bathroom for the first HH for me.

    TMD xx
