Ironing done - there wasn't as much as I thought so going to grab a crafty cuppa and relax before heading off to get DD from school. It's been trying to snow here - hope it goes away.

My room of doom is really the playroom, and it's not too bad as mostly in tubs, but we do need another toy sort. DD broke the scalextrix last night by accident, bless her. She cried as she thought DS would be sad, on another day he might have bopped her  but instead he gave her a hug and said here you can have my new tiger. So need to decide if it's worth trying to fix (it's the wired bit ) or just get rid. Suppose I ought to try fix it. Maybe I can task gramps when he's back from his hols...

Ring the customer services number for the manufacturer. I used to work for the company that sent out replacement parts for Chad Va11ey race tracks. Be honest how it got damaged. We sent them out FOC.

My day went pear shaped when school rang because DS3 was feeling poorly. I have nothing for dinner and haven't been shopping.

DH has goofed again. He got me a voucher for the hairdressers for Mother's Day. Problem is its the hairdressers I sent a letter complaining about the staff and promising to vote with my feet to get better service at another establishment. I haven't been there for 9 months. He claims not to know but he has collected me from the new hairdressers on several occasions. I've told him to take it back and to get his money back.

I don't think I posted at all on here last week, but that is not to say I wasn't flying and living in a skanky mess lol. I have just re-discovered knitting after a break of about 18 years, and I have been knittting every spare minute and not posting.
Just home from work and determined to make a start. Thanks for the list dusty

I had better get a wriggle on. Kettle on whilst I decide where to start. Hopefully I will report back later to say I have achieved some things from the list and not got lost in a tangle of wool.

  • Good afternoon :-)
Had lots of family stuff on the go till today so finally back online and definitely in this week!
I have washed a load and it has been re-washed twice since and I still haven't hung it up. So that is this afternoon's priority followed by the kitchen work surfaces that are covered in stuff from the two parties we've recently had.
    Plus my room of doom!

Fire grate cleaned and fire lit

School run done, WM + TD unloaded and reloaded. Kitchen s+s'd and DD fed.

Having 5 now, then s+s the bathroom and do some ironing......
  • Okay well it seems putting that as a target on here an hour ago spurred me into action
