    Howdy!

Been at the paid stuff this morning, and warned the boss-man I'm not driving this week. He was too busy with a lunchtime deadline to quibble ;) so thats sorted.

Ankle is less painful, unless I put pressure on it, and swelling is gone down a bit too, they suggested ibuprofen gel so have had a good slosh of that on.

We had done a fair tidy before we went out yesterday, and thanks to recent flying, I know that a day or two lapse won't have a huge effect :D so I'm happy to keep my feet elevated :rotfl:

    Monday - Rooms of Doom
    Basic Flying
Clear the floors and hoover them
    15 minutes tidying this area
    Dust anything electrical
[STRIKE]Empty the bins or find something to throw away
[/STRIKE] mum did for me :T

    Deep Cleaning
    Wipe some paint work
    Clean a window or two
Take everything off the most cluttered surface, wipe it clean - do you really want to put it all back?
    Decluttering
Hotspot, seek them out and destroy them
[STRIKE]15 minutes deleting emails/favourites, old word documents, blurry photos you choose or filing shredding
[/STRIKE]Sort out the hall or understairs cupboard

My room of doom is really the playroom, and it's not too bad as mostly in tubs, but we do need another toy sort. DD broke the scalextrix last night by accident, bless her. She cried as she thought DS would be sad, on another day he might have bopped her  but instead he gave her a hug and said here you can have my new tiger. So need to decide if it's worth trying to fix (it's the wired bit ) or just get rid. Suppose I ought to try fix it. Maybe I can task gramps when he's back from his hols...

Second load of laundry in to wash now, ironing later as DSD has a uniform to iron so need to see her first. DSD will also get a list to do this afternoon, room is not how it's supposed to be and I'm not amused!

Just had lunch so dishes all done from that and everything wiped down again ;)

    ooh, meant to add,

to add insult to injury, lol, I have a huge zit on my chin! Yuk. And on inspecting it, I noticed my 'tash is getting a little darker in places

    Any tips?

I have very fine downy hair on my top lip and is mostly fair so I've never had to bother with it, but it seems a couple are getting darker, whats the gentlest way of dealing with them (not including ignoring them :rotfl:)

Bossy - I'm a plucker as I find the bleaching stuff a pain and it can cause a bit of a reaction.

    Ironing done.

I need to settle to get some more paperwork done but not really in the mood tbh.

The Dragon - I remember when I had to have MRIs - so noisy aren't they. Mind you saying that I had my second one when DD was 6 weeks old and I was so shattered I fell asleep in the scanner!!

Oooh if Only! I didn't sleep at all last night (I generally fall asleep around 06.30 hours due to pain and we had to get up at 06.00 hours :p)

Exactly the same here - just used to have fine, blonde ones, but since turning 40, the odd one appears to be a bit darker. I usually just tweeze them out and actually asked the beautician today about waxing. She reckons I would have to do nothing to them at all for the next 6 weeks so there's a full growth cycle and then wax the lot off, but then there is the the maintenance to contend with, so for the foreseeable future, I'll just keep tweezing them until it becomes a bigger problem - flipping hormones/menopause - who'd be a woman!:rotfl:
Decluttering junk and debt in 2016

    Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j

Bossy I've got dark hair so if I have a 'tash it shows so I catch it early. I am actually brave - I epilate my legs so I just grit my teeth and do my upper lip too. It hurts but stays away for a long time thankfully and when you get any regrowth it's a lot finer. HTH x

Been doing some decluttering (got rid of a carrier bag of gibble from the dining room alone) and am now about to drag out the ironing board. I may be a while .....

Bossy et al, regarding the mo' and general facial decluttering/flying: The lady that used to try to make me a bit more presentable when Mr HB was courting me (I'm not big on girly stuff) said that tweezing and waxing causes the root to grow more strongly and over time, they become very strong indeed. Being a doubting Thomasina, I've never been clear as to whether she was simply trying to drum up more electrolysis business or not.

Now that I'm permanently flat broke and through the menopause, I get get the nail scissors out and mow them. I'd bleach them if I could be bothered.
    Better is good enough.
  • Decluttering & basic flying done in LR, as well as clearing and wiping one surface (coffee table - it's big)
