Please count me in for this week. I had a bad week flying last week due to dd getting taken into hospital, she is now a lot better. I really need to get cracking in this house in terms of housework and decluttering.

    Monday - Rooms of Doom
[STRIKE]Clear the floors and hoover them[/STRIKE]
    15 minutes tidying this area
    Dust anything electrical
Empty the bins or find something to throw away
    Wipe some paint work
    Clean a window or two
Take everything off the most cluttered surface, wipe it clean - do you really want to put it all back?
Hotspot, seek them out and destroy them
[STRIKE]15 minutes deleting emails/favourites, old word documents, blurry photos you choose or filing shredding[/STRIKE]
    Sort out the hall cupboard

Tuesday - Bathroom, Hall, Stairs and Landings
    Clean toilet, sink, shower/bath
    Clear and clean the floor
    Dust any fluffy areas
Give any plug holes a good clean and cleanse
    15 minutes ironing
    Sort our medicine cupboard

Wednesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Sweep and mop the floor
    Wipe out the fridge
Wipe the work tops - removing everything first
Wipe all the handles in these rooms
Wipe up high on top of cupboards, shelves etc
Give your sink a really good clean and shine those taps
Do you toothbrushes need replacing - the old ones are great for cleaning around taps, oven dials etc
Picnic wear, plastic plates and cups, lunchboxes give them a sort

I've got a bit lost with the flying this week due to various other commitments and a general lack of motivation. Flying plan for Friday:
    Change kids bedding
    15 minutes tidying ds's bedroom
    Clear and dust one surface
Clean the bathroom and wash the floor
Clean the kitchen and wash the floor
Hoover the floor and behind/under anything safe to do
    Dust the lightshade
Sort through my drawers and put away clothes that have been sitting for a couple of weeks.
Get some quotes on skips ready for a massive declutter.

Evening all, thanks for the list Dusty. Count me in this week, I'll try and do as much as I can but these darn grapes are killing me. Although I am actually wondering if it could be something else - I'm in absolute agony when I sit down. And it takes forever for the painkillers to work :(

Hugs to everyone on here xxx

Thanks to Dusty for the new list and Natty for last week's. My house is still looking sparkly with less than an hour's flying each day :)
If the weather warms up a bit I hope to do some more decluttering in the garden this week - there are about 20 hyacinth bulbs, which have flowered in pots in the house, waiting to be planted outside so that they make a cheerful display next year (even though we expect - hope - that we won't be here to see them).

I have managed to list 16 items on eB@y today and one has already got a bid on it :D

Nice to read about lots of flyladies getting special treats this weekend! My DH and I decided to postpone our meal out until Tuesday because it will be less crowded ;)

GWS vibes to MMM's DD, bossymoo, Natty, froddington and deus's OH. Kazwookie, mind the snow and ice if you're driving across the Fens tomorrow: it's very patchy - practically nothing here but driving sleet at my friend's 5 miles away. Skint, I hope your arm is beginning to heal now. CY, thinking of you and your DH and wishing you positive news this week.

I can offer spoons to those in need, (((hugs))) to those who want one, and sticks for nasty BDs. I've got a busy week ahead, so may not write much - but I'll keep up with the thread whenever I get the chance.

Bedtime, so time for hot chocolate :coffee: Good night all.
  • Thanks so much to everyone for all their kind thoughts, Titch is doing really well although I'm not happy he's gone out for a tiddle and not come back in yet!!! It's bloomin cold out there & I'm sure he's watching me shout for him :o

Thanks natty & dusty for the lists, keeping me motivated... I even cleaned off the fridge earlier and have given all the word magnates to a friend so more clutter gone! :D

Oh & natty I hope the grapes start behaving, I used to bathe in warm chamomile tea, was soothing when nowt else helped. X

I'm in for next week & looking forward to it too :)

I'm in for the week as well :)
Tackling windows outside this week, weather permitting and continuing to unpack after house move (not much left to be honest, just declutter under the stairs as they are open plan!)
Need to find a home for all my bento gear ;)
Laundry on tonight and I ended up doing to washing up. couldn't sit knowing it needed done! My lot were in no hurry to do it.
Few appointments tomorrow then see what else I can tackle :)

Chilly here, not going to be fun for the builder being outside. Just finishing my first cuppa then into the morning routine.

    Good morning ladies.

Thanks for the new thread Dusty.

Must try to get some flying done this week. The house looks unloved.

Sorry to read you've been poorly frodders. Strength back vibes for you.

Work until 12ish then I will menu plan for the week. Tackle the list. Collect the littlies. Go Te5co. Take DD2 to gymnastics, come home to unload shopping. Start dinner, collect DD. have dinner. Attempt to keep on top of the ironing.

Frequent bathroom visitor here so will fly in there 1st.

We have had snow so will have to dig out wellies (predictive text just changed that to something funny) to get to the school bus.

Mrs Gibbs healing vibes for Titch
    Bossy hoping ankle soon heals
Dusty good luck for new window fitting. Hope you don't get too cold.
    Frodders get well soon

Thank you for the threads ladies.

Daily stuff done, list made for OH at his request so he 'remembers' to feed the cat, as if the cat would let him forget....

Just waiting for the low loader to come and get my car and drop off the loan car, so I can get started to Norfolk, just looked at the various web cams on the coast and they have a light dusting of snow atm, so packing wellies etc as well.

    Have a good day xx
