Sticking with the new style lists for another week, each day will give you some basic flying, some deep cleaning choices and some decluttering choices. As ever feel free to pick and mix what needs doing for you according to your ability and time.
................................
Welcome to the weekly Flylady thread. If you need help organising your week or getting motivated when it comes to housework then come and join us.

Every room comes back around next week so please don’t stress about catching up

These lists are only suggestions and not a must do list; you are more than welcome to post and follow your own lists.

Also adding a declutter mission each day will help to gradually clear the clutter and make flying easier.

A few of the basics before we start the week

Hotspots are areas where if one thing gets put there, loads of other things follow!

Daily routines are anything you need to do on a daily basis like washing, swish and swipe kitchen and bathroom, ironing, making beds, vacuuming high traffic areas, making meals etc.

Night-time routines are all things which make getting ready in the morning easier, preparing clothes for the next day, making lunches, swish & swipes of the kitchen and tidying the living room before you go to bed plus personals like shower/brush teeth etc.

Fling Boogie - stick on some loud music, grab a bin bag and whiz around the house finding items that can go out with the rubbish, recycling, for charity shop, basically anything that will stop it cluttering your home.

Swish and swipe/S&S means have a quick wipe over an area such as a sink or toilet to prevent the build up of dirt. This is usually done on a daily basis

HHE/HHC/HHI Half Hour exercise/challenge/ironing ... run around for 30 minutes to the Benny Hill music frantically cleaning exercising or ironing.. other music may be used if you prefer!

Good evening all  I was rubbish last week, with the upheaval of a new kitchen, but the upside is that it's all sparkly and I don;t need to clean my oven for a while :p I had a huge declutter at the same time, so glad that the recyclin bin gets emptied tomorow as I still have plenty to go into the next one.

Thanks to Dusty and Natty for the lists :A See you all tomorrow :j

    Hi all

Am in again this week, thanks Dusty for the lists this week and Natty for last weeks.

I'm off this week so am planning on sorting the shed and sunroom (both are on the doom scale :eek:). Also having a declutter in the garden (fingers crossed it doesn't rain or snow).

This is the week that the kitten (almost 8 months old) will start going outside. I hope she'll be ok, she's not the brightest but she is very entertaining :)

Mrs gibbs hope Titch is still continuing to improve

    Have a great week all

Evening! Thanks for the lists, I'll be in this week, although I have had a slight mishap and given my ankle a bad sprain. It's been checked over but and not broken, but v swollen and uncomfortable.

What a nuisance! I'm not going to be able to drive for a few days (probably all week, realistically). My mum is going to pop across in the morning to take the little ones to nursery, and I will have to beg a "work from home" week from the boss. Can't really be spending £20 a day on taxis. And need to work out getting the kiddies home (mum will be at work and inlaws still away). If I plead insanity, they may deliver them home for me.

So i will fly, such as it will be, as long as I don't have to go up and downstairs.

    See you tomorrow X

Started off well last week but then was ill from Thursday evening. The boys in my class are fab but they really don't need to share everything with me!! Still suffering a bit now but nothing I can't handle - I think spending nearly all of yesterday asleep helped :o

I'm in this week. Thanks for the list Dusty and thanks for last week's list Natty. I'm only at work 3 days instead of 5 this week but that is because my OH is having knee surgery on Wednesday so I'm taking days off work to play nurse. But perhaps that also means I'll get some major cleaning done as well. Decluttering is needed in my room(s) of doom!

Bossymoo ouch, sprains can be very painful! Hope it heals soon.

    [STRIKE]Unpack suitcase
    Tidy bedroom
    Wash dishes

    S&S bathroom

Ironing (maybe just half an hour) - saving this for tomorrow! :o

Here's to a good week of flying for everyone!
