Grabbed the hoover, plugged it in - nothing! Kids had hoovered out the fireplace t'other day and blocked it up, so went to the cupbard for a new bag - nothing! Dashed into town and purchased a new box of bags - house is COMPLETELY hoovered through - happy now :T

Bathroom cleaned, washing put away, bed made, bedroom and study wet-dusted, including skirtings, sockets and lightswitches :T sewing pile sorted for HH worth tomorrow afternoon with a bit of catch up TV (they're all home today and getting under my feet).

Feeling rather chuffed TBH as that's more than I managed all last week. Having HH chill out now and a long, cold drink before I make a push on dinner.

OH cleared up a dog puddlette while I was out (mwah, OH), and I have taken photos of the old twin beds to be Fleabayed from the chalet, and carried up the new-to-us beds with storage drawers in the bases. *smug*

Various bits of red and white bedding decluttered from charity shops to go with the new colour scheme dictated by the new bedroom blind after the last one broke last year (grr), plus a cafetiere for when ours gets broken. The chalet requires a serious clean and spruce up before the first guests arrive for the Easter weekend, which is incredibly early this year. I hope it warms up a bit for them, but by goodness it was beautiful over there today.

Goodness me, some people will go to extra-ordinary lengths not to fly - Bossy with her ankle, Skint B with her arm and now Nicki with a sickly finger. Healing vibes to all of you. I love, Bossy, that you still confuse your little chap with someone who can talk about feelings. He's a mini-MAN. (Thumping someone is a bloke's version of saying something's wrong.)
    Better is good enough.

well done, i think you deserve your chill time

ive polished the whole of my banister (properly with elbow grease polish and a cloth not a quick squirt with some spray)

ive put everything that was piled on my dressing table on my bed, im just going to grab a coffee then go back up pour the rest of the kettle on some soda crystals down the sink and bath pulg holes and then wipe the dressing table and replace only what is needed or decorative (i dont think the pile of old receipts i took out of my handbag fall into either of those categories.
need to feed the boys and get the martial arts bags ready then

Lordy. I need to remind myself he is a different species :rotfl:

Anyway he is fine now, gave his card and said sorry to the little girl, and had a good swim lesson. He did get in bed with me about 4am saying he didn't need a new toy he'd rather have a cuddle (I was bribing them to stay in bed lol) then fell asleep hanging onto my sleeve which he's not done since you know what happened.

Back to flying, have done downstairs loo and will do upstairs when I take them up shortly. Kitchen dailies are done, paid stuff done, kiddies fed and milked. I do have a pile of ironing but will have to wait till tomorrow as I'm just bushed so will be having an early night.
